Mac starts the season “every year” with a tough out of conference schedule. Who else does this? Their out of conference schedule prepares them physically and mentally for the district because every year the opponents are littered with D1 or D2 talent. TEC is the only other team in the state which closely matches Mac’s out of conference schedule. I see Mac -TEC in the finals due to these elements.

Who are you going to stop on Mac’s Team that will beat them? Nobody! Probably the most balanced team in the State. Last week the 1st QB could not play and the 2nd QB romped with 300+- yds passing. Who is the primary RB or WR? Nobody! They are all over the field; short, long, screens, & draws it is exciting to watch. No stars just a team doing its routine.

Defense has been thoroughly tested with 7×5A teams, 2x 6A (Lawton HS who is Co-Champs in 6A & Lawton Ike) & one 7A team (Harbor, Springdale, Ark). who won their 7A district too.

The kicker is even got a 51 yd’r against Duncan. 23 seniors….well seasoned!
