An update on Brantley Jacobs

I wrote a story earlier this month about Brantley Jacobs, a baby who has a rare disease known as Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome. The disease has affected Brantley’s right leg, causing it to be disfigured.
Brantley’s dad David Jacobs sent me an update recently and told me that, in December, Brantley will lose his right leg, from the knee down.
The Jacobses took Brantley to Children’s Hospital Boston earlier this month where doctors assessed Brantley’s condition. David said his son’s case is just too far advanced to save his leg. After the surgery, Brantley will undergo several “debulking” procedures to kill off some of the extra blood vessels and to help get the rest of his leg ready to accept a prosthetic. All of this will have to take place in Boston.
If you would like to help the Jacobses family, there’s a Facebook page set up with more information on how to do that.

This is my grandson and these kids have been through so much with him, this disease started developing during pregnancy. Please keep Brantley and his parents in your hearts and prayers. This is a hardworking middle class family with 5 other children, any donation no matter how small or large would help and be greatly appreciated. There is a Trust fund set up that any money donated goes into it for his trips to Boston for treatment. Brantley Jacobs Trust Fund % Haliegh Jacobs, First National Bank P.O. Box 2320, Blanchard, Okla. 73010 Thank you so much, Becki Rudd
Hello. I am also the grand parent of a child who has Klippel trenaunay syndrome on her right leg. we had the leg amputated at great Ormond st Hospital London. Emma is now 6years old. she was born with a very malformed right leg, and had the lower leg amputated at 12months, the hospital is seeing her very regularly, and even this week, she has been there for internal bleeds to be assesed.
My daughter and her husband would like to make contact with your family you could email me and I will pass info through for you to arrange this if your family are interested. our condition was also picked up at 20wk scan.
so the new car that brantley parents are driving, is that a donation or money spent from his trustfund that his momma is in charge of (duhhhhhhh). can this be varified before folks keep giving up there money. parents with sick child and five other mouths to feed drive around honkers. harsh may bee but are we donating money for baby medical care or are we making a car paymont.
Brantley’s Page in Facebook is Prayers Brantley Jacobs. This family will have lots of trips to Boston, Help with a donation if you are able. But above all else keep Him in your prayers.
