<description>&quot; Our Body&quot; Exhibit at the OKCity Science Museum:
I first saw one of the body exhibits in Seattle. I was squeamish about it until a friend told me, “This is US!” He had spent four hours fascinated by it. I, too, was totally consumed with curiosity once I began the tour. My daughter was with me; she was being treated for a gastro-intestinal condition and at one point exclaimed, “There is the valve my doctor has taught me to massage.” It was a learning and discovery process for both of us. When this one came to Oklahoma City, I couldn’t wait to tour it with my son, who is a doctor. He was able to describe all the amazing systems with clarity and in layman’s terms. Often, he would say, “Come on this side. It’s more interesting.” I urge people of all ages to see this exhibit – for instruction about themselves and amazement at the intricacy of the human body.
