Usher’s wife suffering from plastic surgery complications
Access Hollywood is reporting that R&B singer Usher’s wife Tameka Foster is experiencing complications due to plastic surgery in Brazil.
It’s unknown which body part she was having plastic on.
Usher was scheduled to perform at a pre-Grammy party tonight, but he canceled to fly to Brazil to be with his wife.
Many people assume plastic surgery is harmless, but remember Kanye West’s mother died last year because of plastic surgery complications.
No other details are available at this time, but hopefully his wife will be okay.
The couple married in August 2007, and they have two sons together.

Usher discusses his upcoming album
R&B singer Usher is hitting the studio recording music for his upcoming album. He revealed to MTV that he is taking a different approach with this album.
He recorded a song with Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine.
He said, “We want to create music like you never heard before.”
Usher’s last album titled “Here I Stand” was released in May 2008 and featured the number one song “Love In This Club.”
The title and release date for the new album hasn’t been announced.
Usher’s wife gives brith two their second child
R&B singer Usher’s wife Tameka Foster gave birth to their second child Naviyd Ely Raymond.
I support couples who try to think of unique names to give their children, but I wonder why they would name their new son Naviyd.
It’s good that Usher is wealthy because his son will never be able to find a job with a name like Naviyd.

Celebrities react to Barack Obama’s victory
Celebrities have long supported the Democratic candidates during presidential elections.
They supported Al Gore in 2000, and he lost (thanks to the Supreme Court), they supported John Kerry in 2004, and he lost.
The supported Barack Obama this year, and he won. Celebrities finally have a victory notch in their belt.
Barack Obama easily won the presidential election Tuesday night earning 349 electoral votes giving him enough to win the election.
Here are reactions from celebrities who backed the candidate……
“It feels like hope won. It feels like there’s a shift in consciousness. It feels like something really big and bold has happened here, like nothing ever in our lifetimes did we expect this to happen.” (Oprah Winfrey, The BBC)
“I’m speechless, honestly. I don’t even know what to say. Barack Obama doesn’t represent a color. He represents change.” (from singer Usher, Access Hollwood)
“My parents met working for Obama’s running mate on one of his early campaigns. If it weren’t for Joe Biden, I would not exist as a human being. I am proud to be a part of history in the making.” (singer Pete Wentz, People magazine)
“I congratulate President-elect Obama on his historic victory, and now it’s time to begin unifying the country so we can take on the extraordinary challenges that this generation faces.” (actor George Clooney, Entertainment Tonight)
“I felt like my vote was the vote that put him into office, and that may not be true but that’s how much power it felt like I had.” (P. Diddy, People magazine)
“This is my proudest day as an American. We have elected a leader that represents change and unity. Barack Obama has carved his place in history as a true beacon of hope.” (Nick Cannon, MTV)
“Hey, the American people spoke. They elected Barack Obama as our president and our new Commander in Chief, and I’m behind that 100 percent. (Joe the Plumber, The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet.
Below are some Associated Press photos of the Obama family before the acceptance speech.
Usher will embark on a club tour
R&B singer Usher has announced that he will be launching a 14-city tour to promote his latest CD “Here I Stand.”
But here’s the twist. He won’t be performing at arenas like he has done in the past. Instead, he will be doing a club tour.
His CD sold a little more than one million copies, which is good, but it’s not as good as his previous CD’s.
So I guess he decided to downgrade and start performing at clubs.
There is nothing wrong with performing at a club. I’m just surprised that a celebrity of his caliber went from performing at large arenas and now he is doing clubs.
The tour is titled “One Night Stand: Ladies Only.” The concert dates are listed below

Usher is having another baby
Usher and his wife Tameka Foster will be having another child.
This will be the second child for the couple since the birth of their first son Usher Raymond V back in November.
Usher and his wife have been the main characters in the gossip magazines because it’s been speculated that their marriage was in trouble in they were headed for divorce.
I have to give this couple credit because I think its a great idea to have another child for the sole purpose of squashing the rumors about the state of your marriage.

Usher preparing for a tour
In an interview with the Associated Press, superstar singer Usher said he is rehearsing for his upcoming “One Night Stand” concert tour. He tells reporters that the tour will be for the ladies.
I think it’s a mistake to bill the concert as “Ladies Only.” That means only females will pay money to attend his concert, which means he’s ignoring half of the population, which means he will probably sell a lot less concert tickets since the male population is not invited.
Not a very smart move. No wonder his latest CD has fallen off the charts so fast.

Usher and his mamma reunite
Usher announced that he will once against hire his mother as his manager effectively immediately.
In a joint statement, Usher announced that he will once again hire his mother Jonnetta Patton as his manager effectively immediately.
Last summer, Usher fired his mother and as his manager even though she guided him through his successful career.
Since then, Usher has not been spitting out the hit songs like he used to. Sure, “Love in the club” was a major hit, but that was the only good song on his latest CD “Here I Stand.”
Maybe now that his mamma Jo is back in the picture, maybe we will get better Usher songs.
