Good news for Usher fans.  The R&B singer announced his new album titled “Raymond v. Raymond” will released March 30.

The album was supposed to be released last fall, but it was delayed several times.  Two songs from the album have already hit radio stations.  They are “Papers” and “Hey Daddy.”

Usher’s last album “Here I Stand” was released in 2008.  It sold more than one million copies in the United States.

March 30 is also the date Mariah Carey is releasing her new remix album titled “Angels Advocate.” So, the two superstars will go head-to-head on the charts.

Usher’s new album leaked online

Bad news for R&B singer Usher.  His upcoming album titled “Raymond v. Raymond” has been leaked online before the release date.

Leaked songs from the album have been appearing on various Web sites.  Its unknown who is responsible for the leak.  I can’t post the specific Web sites here, but if you go to a search engine, you can find the leaked songs.

The album was supposed to be released last November, but the record company postponed the release date to March 30.

Since the album has already leaked online, I assume Usher will probably go back into the studio and record new songs.

In November, Usher’s divorce to Tameka Foster Raymond was finalized after two years of marriage.  Despite questions from the public, Usher has been tight lipped about why the marriage failed.

However, it appears Usher is planning on discussing his marital woes on his new album.  In October, he released a song titled “Papers.”  The lyrics describe why he’s ready to sign divorce papers.

Fans who were hoping to have R&B singer Usher’s new album in their Christmas stocking this year will be disappointed.

The release of Usher’s album titled “Raymond v. Raymond” has been delayed.  The album was scheduled to be released Dec. 21, but Usher’s record company announced it has been postponed until 2010.

An exact release date hasn’t been determined.

Usher’s new song titled “Papers” can be heard on radio stations nation wide.  The song lyrics describe his divorce to Tameka Foster Raymond.

There’s more drama going on between R&B singer Usher and his former wife Tameka Foster Raymond.

According to TMZ, Usher called the police on Tameka accusing her of intentionally scratching up his car.

Police said there was no evidence to suggest Tameka was the perpetrator.

Tameka’s representatives released a public statement that said “This is just another attempt to disparage Tameka. It’s simply an angry ploy that has no meritTameka’s own truck was scratched but it’s not clear how. The truck is registered in her name, it’s not even Usher’s car. Why would she vandalize her own vehicle?

Although Usher and Tameka might be angry with each other, I think it’s important for them to keep their dirty laundry on the hush hush because they still have two children young children together.

Usher released a new song titled “Papers” earlier this week, and the lyrics describe the couple’s divorce.  Click here to listen to the song.

When R&B singer Usher married his stylist Tameka Foster in 2007, many critics and fans predicted the marriage wouldn’t last long because they seemed like an unmatched couple.

The couple divorced two years later in 2009 after they had two children together.  The short marriage even caused a rift between Usher and mother Jonetta Patton, who didn’t attend the wedding.

In his new song released Monday, Usher discusses his divorce to Foster.  The song is titled “Papers,” and the lyrics describe why he chose to sign the divorce papers.

The lyrics to the song’s chorus are….”I done damn near lost my mama, I done been through so much drama, I done turned into the man that I never thought I’d be. I’m ready to sign them papers, papers, papers. I done took all I can take, but you leave me no option girl. I can’t deny how much I love you, I done gave up everything I had to As hard as it is I’m afraid I got to say. I’m ready to sign them papers, papers, papers.”

Tameka Foster opens about divorce to Usher

usher-and-tameka-foster

Tameka Foster Raymond is opening up about relationship and divorce to her former husband R&B singer Usher.

In an interview with Upscale magazine, Tameka said “The dissolution of marriage is always upsetting. You have the expectation that it will work. But, you know what? it didn’t work.  But he’s a great guy. I will always love him.”

Throughout their relationship, many women disapproved of Usher and Tameka’s union, and they often made comments about Tameka not being good enough for Usher.

Tameka said “I understand where all the negativity comes from.  Unfortunately I think that some black women are subconsciously not in love with the image they see in the mirror. Therefore in turn they do not love someone like me. I look too much like them. They would definitely have preferred my husband marry someone more exotic looking. I was not given a fair shot. People passed judgment without getting to know me. How can you get the entire concept of who I am from a blog?”

Usher and Tameka married in August 2007.  They have two children together Naviyd Ely Raymond and Usher Raymond V.  The couple filed for divorce in June (2009).

Usher criticizes Chris Brown

Usher

R&B singer Usher is sounding off on the Chris Brown/Rihanna situation.

During the weekend, Brown and Rihanna reunited in Miami Beach at Sean “P. Diddy” Combs’ beach house to work out their issues.

Paparazzi shot photos of Brown enjoying a jet skiing excursion on the beach.

In a video posted as part of Jermaine Dupri’s “Living The Life” series, Usher said “I’m a little disappointed in this photo.  Come on Chris. Have a little bit of remorse man. The man’s on jet skis? Like, just relaxing in Miami.”

I agree with Usher’s comments.  It was in poor taste of Chris Brown to be enjoying himself in tropical paradise after the photos surfaced of Rihanna’s abused face at the hands of Brown.

He should show more remorse.  Most abusers don’t get to relax on jet skis in Miami Beach.

Also, P. Diddy should be ashamed of himself for letting Brown use his beach house for the weekend.  Thousands of people are accused of abuse each year.  Is Diddy going to let them all use his beach house too?

Or did he just let Brown use it because he’s a famous abuser?

Usher’s wife released from hospital

tameka and usher

R&B singer Usher’s wife Tameka Raymond was released from the hospital after recovering for 11 days from cardiac arrest.

Raymond went to to Brazil to undergo a liposuction procedure, when she had a reaction to the anesthesia which resulted in a cardiac arrest.

Doctors revived her within one minute and she was put into an induced coma.

She recently had a second child with Usher, and she hasn’t dropped her baby weight yet, so I guess she wanted to lose it fast through liposuction.

Usher’s wife suffered cardiac arrest

R&B singer Usher’s wife was hospitalized earlier this week in Brazil due to complications from cosmetic surgery.

Usher 2The doctor’s representative revealed Tuesday (Feb. 12) exactly what those complications were.  He said the wife Tameka Raymond suffered from cardiac arrest while under anesthesia to prepare for liposuction.

She was then put in a coma until she recovered. As a result of the incident, the liposuction was never actually performed.

The death of Kanye West’s mother (who died from liposuction complications) serves as a reminder of how dangerous this procedure can be.  It should only be done on people who are morbidly obese.

Usher’s wife was not morbidly obese. In fact, she was skinny.

She just gave birth to their second child together and she hadn’t lost all of her baby weight, so I guess she tried to take a shortcut and have liposuction to get rid of the excess baby weight.

Not a good idea.
