Michael Jackson sued by Thriller director
John Landis, the writer and director of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” video, is suing the king of pop.
Landis is claming that Jackson never paid him his share of the profits during the past four years. 
It’s unknown how much money Landis is asking for becuase it’s not mentioned in the lawsuit.
Although I believe Landis should continue to recieve royalties from his writing and directing services, he should know that Jackson isn’t going to pay him any more money.
Creditors threatened to foreclose on Jackson’s Neverland Ranch last year because he couldn’t pay the bills.
If he can’t afford to pay for Neverland, then he definitely can’t afford to pay Landis.
Landis should probably give up on this lawsuit. Even if he wins, he probably won’t receive anything.
Landis is also famous for directing the cult classic films “The Blues Brothers,” “Three Amigos,” “Coming To America” and “Beverly Hills Cop III.”

Michael Jackson’s Thriller is coming to Broadway
It’s one of the most popular music videos in history, and it set off a dance craze where everyone tried to mimic the choreography.
Now, Michael Jackson’s music video for “Thriller” will be turned into a Broadway musical.
Producer James Nederlander recently bought the rights to bring the music video to Broadway.
It hasn’t been determined which songs will be included in the show or what the story line will be. I’m interested in seeing who will be cast as Michael Jackson.

Michael Jackson is moving to Bel Air
Michael Jackson is leasing a mansion in Bel Air, California. According to the Los Angeles Times, Jackson will be living there for a year, and his rent will be $100,000 a month. His manager told the newspaper that he wants to be “where all the action is.”
Apparently there’s no more action at Neverland. Speaking of Neverland, earlier this year Michael couldn’t afford to pay his Neverland bills so his estate was threatened with foreclosure.
If he had trouble paying his rent, I wonder how can he afford to live in a Bel-Air mansion?????

Michael Jackson says he doesn’t have a lung disease
Tabloid rumors have always swirled around Michael Jackson during the past 40 years or so.
But the latest rumor has gained some legs, and it has been reported on most of the mainstream legitimate news stations.
Many news organizations are reporting that Michael has a rare respiratory disease, and he is in need of a lung transplant.
However, a spokesperson for Michael claims that the news reports are false.
I’m not sure how this story spiraled out of control, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Michael had something to do with this as a publicity stunt in order to get some attention like he always does.
He’s always been an attention-seeker. That’s why he changed his face, slept in a hyberbaric chamber and always wears that surgical mask. And I’m not even going to mention the little boys.

Billie Jean sues Michael Jackson
A woman named Billie Jean Jackson is suing Michael Jackson claiming that she is the mother of his son Prince (nicknamed Blanket).
Billie Jean filed the lawsuit saying that she want joint custody of the child as well has $1 billion in child support.
First of all, Michael doesn’t even have $1 billion. Keep in mind, his Neverland Ranch was threatened with a foreclosure notice. Obviously he’s not a billionaire.
Also, this lawsuit sounds like a joke to me. Michael’s most famous hit song was “Billie Jean” and there just happens to be a woman named Billie Jean Jackson who claims to be the mother of his child.
On behalf of Michael, I demand a DNA test. I also wonder if Billie Jean was her birth name or if she had her name legally changed.

Michael Jackson will auction off glove
Michael Jackson is giving up his world famous signature glove.
According to the Associated Press, the singer will auction off the glove along with 2,000 other items next year.
A portion of the proceeds will go toward the MusiCares organization which provides assistance to musicians in need.
Jackson began using that glove in 1983 during the music video for “Billie Jean.” Whoever wins this glove will definitely own a piece of history.
Michael Jackson will show up at court
Michael Jackson changed his mind and said he will attend a court hearing after all.
Michael Jackson is on trial for a $7 million breach of contract lawsuit in London.
His attorney said earlier this week, that Michael can’t show up in court because he’s too sick.
However, today his attorney said Michael will be feeling better in two days, and that’s when he will show up to court.

Michael Jackson is too sick to appear in court
Just when you thought that Michael Jackson couldn’t do anything more bizarre than he already has, he proved you wrong.
Michael Jackson is being sued for $7 million for breach of contract, but his attorney says he can’t show up to court because he’s too sick to fly to London.
His lawyer said, “It would be unwise for him to travel, given what’s he’s got now.”
What exactly does Michael got? the cold? the flu? allergies? a runny nose? Every time Michael gets in trouble with the law, he all of sudden becomes “sick.”
Remember during his child molestation trial, he wasn’t going to show up to stand trial because he “claimed” he was having back problems. The judge threatened to hold Michael in contempt of court if he didn’t show up.
As a result, Michael’s back problems miraculously healed and he showed up in court. The judge is this lawsuit trial should put his foot down as well, and make Michael show up to court.
He should get no special treatment. If Michael was a regular person, he would be required to appear in court even if he does have a cold.

Update: Michael Jackson won’t participate in Jackson 5 reunion
Jermaine Jackson announced this week that the Jackson 5 will be reuniting in 2009 for a tour and a new album.
Jermaine Jackson told the Associated Press that the Jackson family are in the studio recording the album, and little sister Janet will open the show. 
However, his little brother Michael Jackson released a statement saying that he will not be a part of the project.
In the statement Michael said “I am now in the studio developing new and exciting projects that I look forward to sharing with my fans in concert soon.”
He went on to say, “My brothers and sisters have my full love and support, and we’ve certainly shared many great experiences, but at this time I have no plans to record or tour with them.”
The Jackson 5 were the biggest musical group of the 1970s and 1980s. Since they broke up, everyone has been waiting for a reunion.
This is disappointing because you can’t have a Jackson 5 reunion if the lead singer isn’t there.
Michael needs to stop acting so pompous. He needs to join his brothers on this reunion project. He owes it to his fans.

Marcia Brady used to date Michael Jackson
Maureen McCormick, known as Marcia Brady from the Brady Bunch wrote a tell-all book about her life which included the guys she’s dated, depression and drug use.
But the most shocking thing is that she said she dated Michael Jackson a long time ago. (gasp)
Everybody likes to talk about how weird and crazy Michael Jackson is. Say what you want about him, but there is no denying the fact that he knows how to get pretty women.
We know know he used to date Maureen McCormick. She was pretty back in the day. He also went on a date with Brook Shields and Madonna. Plus, we can never forget about how he was briefly married to Lisa Marie Presley.
If I changed myself to look like him, then maybe I will pull as many woman as he does.

Michael Jackson will be living near elementary school
According to the the Las Vegas Review Journal, singer Michael Jackson will be living down the street from an elementary school in Las Vegas.
According to the publication, some of the parents are a upset the Michael will be living there near the school.
I assume they’re having flashbacks of Michael’s trial for which he was accused of molesting a child.
I know Michael was found not guilty in the court of law. However, I don’t blame the parents for being a little uneasy. I wouldn’t want necessarily want him near my kids either.
Maybe they’re afraid that he will turn his property into a second Neverland Ranch, and he will want to lure their kids to his home to have a sleep over?
