Full House star lied about sobriety

Jodie Sweetin unsweetinedFormer “Full House” actress Jodie Sweetin appeared on “Today Show” to promote her autobiography and to discuss her past drug use.

Sweetin told Matt Lauer she began abusing alcohol in 1996 at age 14 while attending the wedding of her “Full House” co-star Candace Cameron.

She said the alcohol abuse eventually led to hardcore drug use, including meth and cocaine.  Sweetin said she attended rehab in 2007 in an effort to kick her substance abuse habit.

Last year, she toured college campuses around the country speaking to young adults about the dangers of drug and alcohol use.

However, She lied about her sobriety. Sweetin said she duped the public into thinking she was clean and sober.  She said she used the money earned from her college tour to purchase more drugs.

Sweetin now says she has been sober for for 11 months.  The problem is how do we really know if she’s kicked her drug habit?

How do we know she’s not trying to dupe the public into buying her autobiography so she can use the proceeds to purchase drugs like she did with the proceeds from her college tour last year?

I hope she’s overcome her demons, and I hope she is sincere.  Sweetin portrayed Stephanie Tanner on “Full House” from 1987 to 1995. Her autobiography titled Unsweetined is in stores now.

A judge ruled this week that former “Full House” child star Jodie Sweetin will not be allowed to see her infant daughter without supervision.

According to TMZ, her estranged husband accused her of driving intoxicated while she had the baby in the vehicle.

Sweetin is a recovering meth addict who recently had a relapse, according to a doctor who testified in court.

Hopefully, Sweetin can recover and kick this habit for good so she can be a mother to her child.

Sweetin played Stephanie Tanner on “Full House” from 1987 to 1995.

Full House star Jodie Sweetin says her husband won’t work

Full House star Jodie Sweetin and her husband Cody Herpin filed for a legal separation last month, but now the actress is talking about what went wrong.

Full House star Jodie Sweetin says her husband won’t work

Basically, she is saying that the main reason their marriage fell apart is because her husband doesn’t want to get a job.

Jodie tells People Magazine, “Our house is in foreclosure, our water has been shut off twice. Currently, all of our other utilities are overdue.  He kept finding one excuse after another for his failure to even attempt to find employment.”

I think he probably thought that Jodie could afford to take care of everything because she made a lot of money during the eight seasons that she spend playing Stephanie Tanner on “Full  House.”

I don’t blame her for being upset. Everybody knows the economy is in bad shape, and everyone is having financial problems.

He needs to get out and get a job too so he can help pay those bills

But wait a minute….. Doesn’t Jodie need to get out and get a job too? She hasn’t had a real job since “Full House” went off the air 13 years ago. She needs to start bringing home some money too.  It’s unfair of her to blame all of the financial problems on her husband.
