The actor and his wife Evi were arrested in Prisidio County, Texas, accused of skipping out on paying a $10,000 hotel bill in California, according to the Associated Press. 

They were charged with burglary, defrauding an innkeeper and conspiracy. 

Quaid has a string of movies under his belt, including “Brokeback Mountain,” “Independence Day,” “Kingpin” and several “National Lampoon” movies. 

He is the older brother of actor Dennis Quaid. 

If he can’t afford to stay in hotels that cost $10,000, maybe he should downgrade to a Motel 6, Days Inn, Sleep Inn or Howard Johnsons.…
