Jordin Sparks replaces Ciara on Britney Spears tour
R&B singer Ciara lost her spot as Britney Spears’ opening act during the second leg of her Circus tour.
She will be replaced by pop singer and season six “American Idol” champion Jordin Sparks. The announcement was made on Spears’ Web site. The reason for the change is unknown.
Also, serving as an opening act for the tour is newcomer Kristinia DeBarge. Kristinia is the daughter of singer James DeBarge, who happens to be the ex-husband of Janet Jackson.

Justin Timberlake to host Saturday Night Live
Pop singer turned actor Justin Timberlake will make another appearance on NBC’s Saturday Night Live tonight (May 30)
He will be hosting the show and appearing in numerous skits throughout the night. Timberlake has appeared on the show several times, and he’s proven that he has respectable comedy skills. I’m sure he won’t disappoint tonight either.
The musical guest will be R&B singer Ciara whose hit songs include “Goodies,” “1,2 Step” and “Like A Boy.”
Ciara collaborated with Timberlake for her new single titled “Love Sex Magic.” I’m assuming they will perform that song on tonight’s episode as well.

Ciara and Justin Timberlake’s new song
R&B singer Ciara is releasing a new album titled “Fantasy Ride” which will be in stores April 7.
The first single from the album is a duet with Justin Timblerlake titled “Love Sex Magic.”

Producer says Ciara is not the best singer
Everyone knows that R&B singer Ciara is beautiful, and she is a great dancer. Everyone also knows that she doesn’t have the best singing voice. In fact, her voice is weak.
Apparently, her producer Polow Da Don agrees. In an interview with MTV, Polow tried to give a complimentary statement about Ciara, but it came across the wrong way.
It sounds like he was trying to say that she doesn’t have a great voice. In fact, that’s exactly what he said.
He said, “And one thing people do say about when I work with Ciara is that I make her sound better than ever. I make her sound like a vocalist versus the other stuff she may do that’s more performance, where she can get on the dance floor. It’s kind of the same thing with Aaliyah. She may not have been the best singer, but her voice was so unique and her sound — she had her own lane, and I think Ciara is like that same thing.”
So, he said Aaliyah wasn’t the best singer, and he doesn’t think Ciara is the best singer. I agree with him, but if he’s Ciara’s producer then he should at least pretend like she’s a good singer.
