Harry Potter actor arrested for drug possession

jamie-waylett

Jamie Waylett will need to use some of Harry Potter’s magic skills if he wants to get out of the legal jam he is in.

Waylett (who portrays Vincent Crabbe in all of the “Harry Potter” films) was arrested in London on marijuana possession complaint.

Waylett, 19, and his friend were pulled over by police and eight bags of marijuana in the vehicle.

The story gets even better.  Police then raided his home and found 10 cannabis plants.

I wonder if he was using the marijuana or if he was just selling it?

If he’s selling it, the “Harry Potter” producers should probably pay him more money so that he doesn’t have to resort to selling.

Photos of Rihanna’s injuries after attack by Chris Brown

rihanna’s injuries

TMZ published the first police photos that shows the injuries and bruises that singer Rihanna suffered during an alleged incident with her then boyfriend R&B singer Chris Brown.

Brown was arrested Feb. 8 accused of assaulting Rihanna.

As you can see, she has two black eyes, two bumps on her forehead and bloody swollen lips.

After seeing the photos , I am no longer a Chris Brown fan, and I will NEVER support his entertainment career again.

The photos are very disturbing.  The only reason I am posting them is because everyone needs to understand how cruel domestic violence is.  This issue is real and should not be swept under the rug.

Just because someone is a famous talented entertainer, that doesn’t mean they should be able to get away with abuse.

These photos likely will spark outrage, and that’s a good thing.  Maybe people will start pressuring their politicians to pass tougher penalties for abusers.

Close-up pictures are posted below.

Miley Cyrus sued for $4 billion

Miley Cyrus A woman filed a lawsuit against teenybop singer Miley Cyrus this week, and you’ll never guess how much she is being sued for–$4 billion.  Yes, $4 billion with a “B”

Cyrus was photographed slanting her eyes in a picture, and many people in the Asian-American community were offended.  The plaintiff, Lucie Kim filed the $4 billion lawsuit  saying she is representing one million Asians who live in Los Angeles County.

Cyrus said she wasn’t making fun of anyone’s ethnicity in the photo.  She claims she was just making a goofy face.

Whether you believe her, the fact is she can’t afford to pay that $4 billion lawsuit.  She’s a millionaire, but she’s nowhere near being a billionaire.  She’s not Oprah.

The plaintiff should reduce the lawsuit to $1 million, then she might have a better chance of winning.

Chris Brown hiding out in Las Vegas

rihanna

chris brownSo where has Chris Brown been hiding at since he was arrested on an assault complaint accused of beating up his girlfriend singer Rihanna?

According to E News, he has been in a suite at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Whenever you’re in legal trouble accused of beating up your girlfriend, what better place to hang out than Las Vegas (aka Sin City) to help take your mind off of the chaos.

On second thought, maybe he should hang out at church instead because he’s really going to need God to help him out of the jam that he’s in.

Those slot machines will do him no good.

Update: Sexual assault dropped against Saving Abel member

Prosecutors have dropped sexual assault charges against jason nullJason Null, a member of the rock band Saving Abel and  a band associate.

According to the Oakland Tribune, Null along with an associate of the band Brandon Danger were accused of luring the girl on the band’s tour bus by telling her she was going to be in a rock video.  The girl accused them of forcing her to perform oral sex on them.

However, according to the Associated Press, prosecutors recently discovered a videotape that contradicted the girl’s accusations.

So the two men won’t face any charges.

Since the videotape showed the girl lied about the incident, I think she she should be thrown in jail.

Falsely labeling someone as a sexual abuser is irresponsible, cruel, illegal and could permanently damage someone’s reputation.

Null was the co-founder of Saving Abel.  Their hit song “Addicted” peaked at number 2 on the Billboard rock charts.

Chris Brown grew up in abusive home

In the aftermath of Chris Brown’s arrest on an assault complaint, Access Hollywood uncovered an interview where Brown talks about growing up with an abusive stepfather in an interview with Giant Magazine.

rihanna chris brownHe told his mother, “I’m gonna take a baseball bat one day while you at work, and I’m gonna kill him.”

Also during the interview, he said “He used to hit my mom.  He made me terrified all the time, terrified like I had to pee on myself.  I remember one night he made her nose bleed. I was crying and thinking, ‘I’m just gonna go crazy on him one day,’ I hate him to this day.”

Brown was arrested early morning Feb. 9 accused of assaulting a young woman.  Although the victim’s name hasn’t been released, multiple news organizations are speculating that the victim was his girlfriend singer Rihanna.

I hope Brown is able to overcome his demons, and it’s sad that he had to witness that type of behavior as a child.  But if the allegations against him are true, that’s still no excuse for assaulting someone else.

He has to learn to break the cycle.  Otherwise, he’s going to end up like his stepfather.

Also, about those Wrigley Doublemint gum commercials that Brown appears in.  You won’t see those commercials for a while because the company is suspending those commercials as a result of the assault allegations.

Watch the clip of the commercial below because it might be the last time you will see it.

Paris Hilton’s brother sued

paris hilton

paris hilton

Who knew Paris Hilton even had a little brother? I certainly didn’t until he was hit with a lawsuit this week.

Barron Hilton is being sued by a man who was hit by Hilton’s vehicle, according to Yahoo News.

Barron Hilton was arrested a year ago on a DUI complaint accused of sideswiping a pickup truck on the highway.

The driver followed him to a gas station in Malibu to try to make him get out of the vehicle, but before Hilton exited the car, he allegedly drove into the man’s leg.

It’s understandable why this man is filing a lawsuit.  He did get his leg hit, but why did he wait one year after the accident before filing the lawsuit?

He should have filed it sooner so he can pay to have his leg repaired.

Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis arrested

joe francisJoe Francis, the creator of the popular “Girls Gone Wild” video series was arrested this week for showing up to court five hours late.

Francis said he showed up late because he was suffering from the flu.  The judge didn’t seem to care because Francis was ordered straight to jail.

Francis is facing tax evasion charges, and the trial is expected to start next month.

If he is convicted and has to serve prison time, there will millions of angry men around the world because the “Girls Gone Wild” series will probably be discontinued.

Maybe Francis’ attorney can sneak a “Girls Gone Wild” fan into the jury pool.

DMX sentenced to jail for abusing pets

dmxHip hop star DMX had his day in court, and it wasn’t very pretty.

A judge sentenced him to 90 days in jail on convictions of marijuana possession, theft and animal cruelty.

He will also be put on 18 months probation.

The charges stem from an incident in 2007 when authorities searched his Arizona property and found three dead dogs,  marijuana and some pit bulls that were malnourished.

That’s not a humane way to treat your pets.

Considering there were three of his dead pet dogs on his property, I would say he got off lightly if he only has to serve three months in jail.
