Britney Spears new music video: Three
Britney Spears, Rihanna, Shakira, Adam Lambert, Susan Boyle releasing albums in same week
The last week of November will be a showdown among five popular musicians.
Britney Spears, Rihanna, Shakira, Adam Lambert and Susan Boyle will release new albums the week of Nov. 23 vying for the number one spot.
Rihanna’s album “Rated R” will likely debut at number one. This is the singer’s first album since the infamous Chris Brown incident.
Everyone is rooting for Rihanna to come back on top. Plus, her new song “Russian Roulette” has caused a little controversy because of the lyrical content. We all know controversy sells.
Britney Spears’ “The Singles Collection” will probably debut at number two.
Although its a greatest hits CD, the lip-synching performer is still enormously popular. Fans who attended her recent Circus Tour will probably flock to stores to purchase the greatest hits package.
I predict Adam Lambert’s “For Your Entertainment” will debut in the number three position. Although he didn’t win the ”American Idol” title, he still has a huge fan base. It won’t be enough to overtake Rihanna and Britney, but it’s big enough for third place.
Shakira’s “She Wolf” album will probably take the number four spot, despite that semi-annoying song with the same title.
No one can forget when Susan Boyle shocked the world while she belted out “I Dreamed a Dream” on “Britain’s Got Talent.”
Her CD “I Dreamed a Dream” will likely debut at number five.
She will definitely dominate the charts in Europe, but she doesn’t do much promotion in the U.S.
Fred Durst divorcing wife of two months
It’s probably the shortest Hollywood marriage so far this year. Limp Bizkit lead singer Fred Durst and his wife Esther Nazarov are divorcing, two months after they tied the knot.
Durst made the announcement on his Twitter page Monday (Sept. 28). He tweeted “For those of you inquiring, I will confirm that Esther and I have decided to go our separate ways and we both thank you for your support. We remain very positive and wish only the best for each other.”
The couple married in July during a Las Vegas ceremony.
Although this marriage is over before it began, it still doesn’t beat Britney Spears’ record. Spears married childhood friend Jason Alexander in 2004, but it was annulled two days later.
Britney Spears to release “The Singles Collection”
It’s been 10 years since Britney Spears released her debut album, and the pop star will mark the occasion by releasing a compilation CD.
Britney made the announcement Wednesday on her Web site. The CD titled “The Singles Collection” will be in stores Nov. 24.
There will be two versions of the compilation package. The ultimate fan box version will feature all 29 of Britney’s singles that were released during the past decade, and the standard version will have 17 songs on one CD.
Both versions will include Britney’s new song titled “3,” which will be released to radio stations next week.
Her debut album “Baby One More Time” was released in 1999. Her sophomore album “Ooop!… I Did It Again” came out in 2000, followed by “In The Zone” in 2003, “Greatest Hits: My Perogative” in 2004, “Blackout” in 2007 and “Circus” in 2008.
Britney Spears performs in Tulsa
She performed her hit songs including “Baby One More Time,” “Toxic” and “Womanizer.”
The singer was on tour with opening acts Jordin Sparks and Kristinia DeBarge.
Sparks was the winner of the sixth season of “American Idol” in 2007. Her hit songs include “Battlefield,” “One Step At A Time” and “Tattoo.”
Kristinia DeBarge is the daughter of James DeBarge from the 1980s singing group DeBarge.

Jordin Sparks replaces Ciara on Britney Spears tour
R&B singer Ciara lost her spot as Britney Spears’ opening act during the second leg of her Circus tour.
She will be replaced by pop singer and season six “American Idol” champion Jordin Sparks. The announcement was made on Spears’ Web site. The reason for the change is unknown.
Also, serving as an opening act for the tour is newcomer Kristinia DeBarge. Kristinia is the daughter of singer James DeBarge, who happens to be the ex-husband of Janet Jackson.

Britney Spears ex-boyfriend charged with assault, hit and run
Britney Spears’ former papparazzi boyfriend Adan Ghalib has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon and hit and run.
According to the Associated Press, Ghalib is accused of striking a process server with his vehicle at his apartment.
The process server was delivering Ghalib court papers telling him that Britney filed a restraining order against him.
The server’s wrist was broken during the incident.
Assuming the allegations are true, if someone is serving you court papers, running them over with your vehicle won’t make the situation go away. You will still have to answer to the court.
Britney began dating Ghalib in 2007 during a time when her life was in complete turmoil.

Britney Spears sued by former manager
Britney Spears’ former manager Sam Lufti filed a lawsuit against Britney Spears and her parents Jamie and Lynn Spears.
According to TMZ, Lufti’s attorneys are accusing the Spears family of launching a “campaign of lies and intimidation designed to destroy Lutfi and drive him out of Britney’s life.”
Also in the lawsuit, Lufti is accusing Britney’s father of yelling at him and punching him in the chest. He’s also accusing Britney’s mother of making false accusations about him in her “Through The Storm” book.
If these accusations are true, Lufti should learn to have a backbone. If the father punched him in the chest, then he should have defended himself and punched him right back.
Britney’s father is an old man. He would be so easy to take down.

Britney Spears threatening to cancel tour
Pop star Britney Spears is threatening to cancel her tour dates if she’s not allowed to bring her two children with her.
According to TMZ, Britney and ex-husband Kevin Federline are trying to work out a custody arrangement while Britney is away on tour.
Federline’s lawyers aren’t on board with arrangement yet, and Britney is threatening to cancel the tour if she can’t have her kids with her.
I think Britney is bluffing. I don’t think she will actually follow through and cancel her tour.
Then again, I could be wrong. I’ve seen Britney do crazier things in the past.

Britney Spears is back in shape
For the past few years while Britney Spears’ life was spiraling out of control, the effect took a toll on her body and physical condition.
But it looks like Britney has shed the pounds, and she looks like she is on top of her game once again. She’s been working with a trainer to get back in shape for her upcoming tour.
Britney posted some photos from her tour rehearsal on her Web site. Take a look at the pics posted below and see for yourself.
Britney Spears brother married on News Year’s Eve
Britney Spears’ older brother Bryan Spears married his girlfriend on New Year’s Eve.
The wedding took place in New Orleans, and the whole Spears family was in attendance–Britney, Jamie Lynn, Jamie (the dad) and Lynn (the mother).
The bride Graciella Sanchez is Jamie Lynn’s manager.
Bryan deserves nothing but the best, and I hope he finds true happiness with his new marriage.
He deserves it because out of the entire Spears family, Bryan is the only normal one, He definitely deserves much credit for that.

Britney Spears’ son released from hospital
Britney Spears’ son Jayden was released from the hospital late Monday night (Nov. 10).
He was taken to a Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center on Sunday afternoon after he had an allergic reaction from something that he ate. I’m glad the little tot is okay.
I just wish I knew what he ate so that I can make sure to avoid it myself.
Update: Britney Spears’ case dismissed
The jury in the Britney Spears trial ended up being hung. Britney was on trial for driving
without a license.
The jury began deliberating on Friday, but after a few days, they couldn’t reach a decision
on whether Britney is innocent or guilty. So, the judge declared the case a mistrial Tuesday.
Britney was on trial accused of driving without a drivers license when she was involved in a minor traffic accident
Why is jury even involved an a drivers license case? Shouldn’t they be involved in murder, rape, assault, fraud and robbery trials.
A drivers license case should never involve a jury. The judge should have decided this trial from the start.

Britney Spears rejects a plea deal
Britney Spears refused to accept a plea dea in connections with a minor car accident that occurred last year.
According to the Associated Press, if Britney accepted the plea deal, she would have to pay a $150 fine and she would be on probation for one year.
The lawyer said Britney is being targeted because of her celebrity status, so she won’t agree to the plea agreement.
Britney was accused in 2007 of hitting a parked vehicle and never notifying the owner.
If I were Britney, I would most certainly accept this plea deal and just get it out of the way. Britney’s life is on the upswing now, and she doesn’t need any more legal battles.
She should just pay the fine and accept the probation and move on. Otherwise, this thing is going to drag out in court forever.

Britney Spears new album
Britney Spears’ new album “Circus” will be out Dec. 2, which happens to coincide with her birthday.
I think this comeback album will be a great birthday present for Britney. I know I have been a little harsh on Britney during the past year during her battle with Kevin Federline, her tumultous MTV performance last year, her shaving her head, missing court dates etc etc.
However, I really do wish Britney the best, and I hope her album does really well on the charts.
She looked great earlier this month at the MTV Video Music Awards, and she seemed to be in a “normal” state of mind.
After the bad year that she has been having, she deserves to be able to bounce back and reclaim her title as the queen of pop.
From rags to riches
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline reached a custody settlement, and it look likes Brit Brit will pay K-Fed $20,000 a month in child support.
Wow!! K-Fed has got it made. Several critics have been harsh toward K-Fed and accused him of being a low life, a moocher and a gold digger because he doesn’t have a real job.
However, I have alot of admiration for him. He’s living the life. He will earn $20,000 a month, or $240,000 a year, only because he impregnated Britney with two kids. He doesn’t have to work. All he has to do relax in an upscale home.
