I guess he just \flipped out\ – usually there is drug taking involved in these kinds of cases – especially methamphetamine which is such a scourge on society these days. I think as a society we are giving criminals to many second chances especially in violent crimes. Truly they know what they are doing is wrong. So it should be an eye for an eye.
Of course every one deserves a just trial. But at the end of the day the worst offenders are costing tax payers far more than they will ever contribute to society in their lifetime.
