University of Oklahoma basketball player Tiny Gallon accepted $3,000

University of Oklahoma basketball player Tiny Gallon may have taken thousands of dollars from a well-known agent, according to a popular celebrity gossip Web site.

According to a document obtained by TMZ.com, Gallon, a freshman forward for the Sooners, accepted a $3,000 wire transfer from Merrill Lynch financial advisor Jeffrey Hausinger, who also works with several professional athletes.

The money was deposited into an account held by Gallon and his mother, Sylvia Wright, according to the document obtained by TMZ.com.

“The University of Oklahoma is committed to ensuring compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations,” OU athletic director Joe Castiglione said in a statement to The Oklahoman. “Any activity not in compliance is taken seriously and is acted upon swiftly.”
