SeaWorld whale kills trainer, officials will continue whale show

DISCLAIMER: This following post is not celebrity-related. It’s about a whale who killed three people and got away with it. However, the whale has been all over the news this week, so I guess he’s starting to become a celebrity.
SeaWorld in Orlando announced they will restart their whale shows this weekend after a trainer was killed by their killer whale.
A SeaWorld trainer was killed Wednesday (Feb. 26) after the killer whale named Tilikum drug her through the water and began tossing her around like a toy.
SeaWorld president Jim Atchison told reporters the whale show will resume, but trainers won’t be allowed in the water with the killer whale as of right now.
This isn’t the first time this killer whale has lived up to his name. This same whale killed a trainer in 1991 and another man in 1999.
Blogger ReRe Lunsford made the following statement on her Re-Ramblings blog.
“My heart goes out to these folks. But if you ever hear that I was killed by a whale, that means that a whale broke out of it’s tank and walked to my house, knocked on the door and ate me. That’s the only way a whale is getting a piece of this.”
I echo Mrs. Lunsford’s comments. I’m not going near anything named Killer.
I feel bad for the victims who have been killed by this whale. However, its a “KILLER WHALE.” Anytime a creature has the word “KILLER” in its name, that’s a sign that humans should probably stay far away from it.
Again, it’s called a “KILLER WHALE.” — not a cuddle whale, not a snuggle whale, not a kissy whale. But “KILLER WHALE.”
He’s already killed three people. If the whale was an illegal immigrant, he would have been deported out of the country after the first killing.
Therefore, INS needs to deport him to the Atlantic Ocean with all the other killer whales.
