Michael Jackson said Madonna was jealous of him
Michael Jackson gave an audiotaped interview with his friend Rabbi Shmuley Boteach several years ago. Last week, “Dateline” NBC aired the taped interviews in its entirety.
During the interview, Jackson discussed various topics including abuse by his father, racism, living his life in the spotlight and coping with the cruel media.
He also alleges pop star Madonna was jealous of him. Here’s an excerpt about his comments toward Madonna.
“Madonna laid down the law to me before we went out. ‘I am not going to Disneyland, okay? That’s out.’ I said ‘I didn’t ask you to go Disneyland.’ She said, ‘We are going to the restaurant and afterwards we are going to a strip bar.’ I am not going to a strip bar, where they cross dress. Guys who are, are girls. I said ‘I am not going to go there,’ and I think afterwards she wrote some mean things about me in the press and I said that she’s a nasty witch.”
When asked about celebrities who are jealous of him, Jackson said “They admire you and know you’re wonderful and great but just they’re jealous ’cause they wish they were in your place, wish they were in your shoes. And “M” is one of ‘em. Madonna. She’s not a nice, she hasn’t been kind. Absolutely. She’s a woman and I think that’s what bothers her. Women don’t scream for other women. men are too cool to scream for women and i get that. I get the fainting and the adulation and the notoriety but she doesn’t. She can’t get that.”

Did Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel break up?
Did Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel break up? That’s what a popular entertainment magazine is alleging.
Timberlake and Biel are on the cover of the latest issue of US Weekly magazine. The magazine claims they have broken up after three years.
However, People magazine is reporting they are still together, and they were photographed holding hands earlier this week.
Which doesn’t mean much because I remember LeAnn Rimes was photographed kissing her husband Dean Sheremet, then they filed for divorce shortly after the kiss.
If the break up news turns out to be true, I would be disappointed because I had high hopes for Timberlake and Biel as a couple. They seemed like the perfect pair.
Meanwhile, Timberlake is preparing for his upcoming role in the Facebook film “The Social Network.” Biel is currently filming “A-Team,” which is based on the 1980s television show.

Hugh Jackman stops play for cell phone
If you happen to attend a Broadway play where actor Hugh Jackman is performing, please keep your cell phones turned off. The actor gets testy when his stage performance is interrupted by a ring tone.
Jackman and actor Daniel Craig were performing a scene during their Broadway play “A Steady Rain,” when an audience member’s cell phone began ringing.
Jackman told the audience member “You want to get that? “I don’t care, grab it. Grab your phone, it doesn’t matter.” Jackman then paced around the stage until the phone stopped ringing. A video clip of the incident is posted below via TMZ.
Fred Durst divorcing wife of two months
It’s probably the shortest Hollywood marriage so far this year. Limp Bizkit lead singer Fred Durst and his wife Esther Nazarov are divorcing, two months after they tied the knot.
Durst made the announcement on his Twitter page Monday (Sept. 28). He tweeted “For those of you inquiring, I will confirm that Esther and I have decided to go our separate ways and we both thank you for your support. We remain very positive and wish only the best for each other.”
The couple married in July during a Las Vegas ceremony.
Although this marriage is over before it began, it still doesn’t beat Britney Spears’ record. Spears married childhood friend Jason Alexander in 2004, but it was annulled two days later.

Three powerhouse vocalists are teaming up to form a new musical group known as TDK.
R&B singers Tamia, Deborah Cox and Kelly Price are recording a joint CD titled “The Queen Project.” The R&B divas also will support the CD by going a tour next year.
The project will be similar to LSG which consisted of solo R&B male singers Gerald Levert, Keith Sweat and Johnny Gill.
Tamia is Quincy Jones’ former protege. Her hit songs include “You Put A Move On My Hear,” “So Into You” and “Stranger In My House.” In 1999, she married NBA player Grant Hill. In 2003, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
Cox came to the music scene in 1998 with her hit song “Nobody’s Supposed To Be Here.” The song spent 14 weeks at number one on the Billboard R&B Charts.
Price’s hit songs included “Friend Of Mine” and “As We Lay.” She also sang with Whitney Houston on the popular song “Heartbreak Hotel.” She was also a background singer for Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Brian McKnight and SWV.

Did Alicia Keys steal someone’s husband?
The alleged “other woman” is putting R&B singer Alicia Keys on blast. The alleged “other woman” is R&B singer Mashonda. Alicia is currently dating Mashonda’s husband Swizz Beatz.
Mashonda and Swizz Beatz are currently going through a divorce, but Mashonda claims Alicia is the reason the marriage broke up. She’s accusing Alicia of stealing her husband.
Mashonda posted an open letter to Alicia. The letter is posted below.

Andrew Shue and Amy Robach are engaged
Amy Robach, the cute news anchor that comes on NBC and MSNBC, is engaged to actor Andrew Shue. Who knew? I didn’t even know they were even dating.
Shue was a castmember on the original “Melrose Place” series for 200 episodes from 1992 to 1998. He played Billy Campbell. His sister is Oscar-nominated actress Elisabeth Shue.
Robach can be seen on “Today Show,” “NBC Nightly News” and MSNBC news programs.
“Scream 4″ set for filming
One of my favorite horror movies is coming back to the big screen for another installment. Filming for “Scream 4″ will begin in the spring.
Neve Campbell will reprise her role as Sidney Prescott, Courteney Cox Arquette will return as the feisty tv reporter Gale Weathers and David Arquette will play clumsy sheriffs deputy Dewey Riley.
The first installment of “Scream” was released in 1996 and earned $173 worldwide at the box office. Courteney Cox and David Arquette fell in love on the “Scream” set and eventually married.
Released in 1997, “Scream 2″ earned $172 million and “Scream 3″ made $161 million in 2000.

Warren G new CD
Rapper Warren G is returning to the music scene with a new CD in stores Tuesday (Sept. 29). The CD titled “G Files” will feature collaborations from Snoop Dogg, Ray J, Nate Dogg, Travis Barker and Raekwon.
Most people remember Warren G from his 1994 hit song “Regulate,” which dominated radio airwaves for two years.
He has since released five CD’s, but none had any success since his debut album. To support his new CD, Warren G is going on the road during a concert tour beginning Oct. 1. The tour dates are posted below

Roman Polanski arrested for sex with underage girl
Thirty-two after having sex with an underage 13-year-old girl, film director Roman Polanski has finally been arrested. The full Associated Press story is posted below via NewsOK.

Director Roman Polanski was arrested by Swiss police for possible extradition to the United States for having sex in 1977 with a 13-year-old girl, authorities said Sunday.
Polanski was flying in to receive an honorary award at the Zurich Film Festival when he was apprehended Saturday at the airport, the Swiss Justice Ministry said in a statement. It said U.S. authorities have sought the arrest of the 76-year-old around the world since 2005.
“There was a valid arrest request and we knew when he was coming,” ministry spokesman Guido Balmer told The Associated Press. “That’s why he was taken into custody.”
Balmer said the U.S. would now be given time to make a formal extradition request.
Polanski fled the U.S. in 1978, a year after pleading guilty to unlawful sexual intercourse with the underage girl.
The director of such classic films as “Chinatown” and “Rosemary’s Baby” has asked a U.S. appeals court in California to overturn a judges’ refusal to throw out his case. He claims misconduct by the now-deceased judge who had arranged a plea bargain and then reneged on it.
The Swiss statement said Polanski was officially in “provisional detention for extradition,” but added that he would not be transferred to U.S. authorities until all proceedings are completed. Polanski can contest his detention and any extradition decision in the Swiss courts, it said.
Polanski has faced a U.S. arrest request since 1978 and has lived for the past three decades in France, where his career has continued to flourish. He received a directing Oscar in absentia for the 2002 movie “The Pianist.” He was not extradited from France because his crime reportedly was not covered under the U.S.’s treaties with the country.
In France, Culture Minister Frederic Mitterrand said he was “dumbfounded” by Polanski’s arrest, adding that he “strongly regrets that a new ordeal is being inflicted on someone who has already experienced so many of them.”
Mitterrand’s ministry said Sunday in a statement that he is in contact with French President Nicolas Sarkozy, “who is following the case with great attention and shares the minister’s hope that the situation can be quickly resolved.”
A native of France who was taken to Poland by his parents, Polanski escaped Krakow’s Jewish ghetto as a child and lived off the charity of strangers. His mother died at the Auschwitz Nazi death camp.
He worked his way into filmmaking in Poland, gaining an Oscar nomination for best foreign-language film in 1964 for his “Knife in the Water.” Offered entry to Hollywood, he directed the classic “Rosemary’s Baby” in 1968.
But his life was shattered again in 1969 when his wife, actress Sharon Tate, and four other people were gruesomely murdered by followers of Charles Manson. She was eight months pregnant.
He went on to make another American classic, “Chinatown,” released in 1974.
In 1977, he was accused of raping the teenager while photographing her during a modeling session. The girl said Polanski plied her with champagne and part of a Quaalude pill at Jack Nicholson’s house while the actor was away. She said that, despite her protests, he performed oral sex, intercourse and sodomy on her.
Polanski was allowed to plead guilty to one of six charges, unlawful sexual intercourse, and was sent to prison for 42 days of evaluation.
Lawyers agreed that would be his full sentence, but the judge tried to renege on the plea bargain. Aware the judge would sentence him to more prison time and require his voluntary deportation, Polanski fled to France.
The victim, Samantha Geimer, who long ago identified herself publicly, has joined in Polanski’s bid for dismissal, saying she wants the case to be over. She sued Polanski and reached an undisclosed settlement.
Festival organizers said Polanski’s detention had caused “shock and dismay,” but that they would go ahead with Sunday’s planned retrospective of the director’s work.
The Swiss Directors Association sharply criticized authorities for what it deemed “not only a grotesque farce of justice, but also an immense cultural scandal.”

Tupac’s writings will be stored at library
The late rapper Tupac Shakur’s writings will be housed at an Atlanta library. The same libary that includes Martin Luther King Jr.’s collection. The Associated Press story is posted below.

Tupac Shakur’s mother has donated a collection of the rapper’s writing to the Robert W. Woodruff Library at Atlanta University Center.
Afeni Shakur has handed over more than 150 of her son’s items, ranging from rough drafts of lyrics and poems to a photocopy of his contract with Suge Knight and Death Row Records.
The rapper’s collection will be part of the archives at the library on the campus of the Atlanta University Center, which comprises the historically black universities of Morehouse College, Spelman College, Clark Atlanta University and the Morehouse School of Medicine.
The library also houses The Martin Luther King Jr. Collection. Shakur’s records are expected to be available for research in the fall of 2010.
“We need to read history from the source,” Afeni Shakur said. “It gives people the opportunity to judge him objectively. What we want to do is educate.”
Other items include the rapper’s handwritten playlists of “All Eyez on Me” and “The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory”; letters he wrote to his family when he was in prison in 1994; and some of his personal items returned to the family after his death.
Afeni Shakur says she has never read any of her son’s notes.
“I haven’t touched them one bit,” she said. “I have not been able to. But I think when the library makes them available, I think I can go with my family and might able to do it for the first time.”
Shakur was one of rap’s best-selling artists, becoming an even bigger star after his release from prison in 1995 with his multi-platinum selling album “All Eyez on Me.” He was shot to death while riding in a car with Knight in Las Vegas a year later.
“Tupac’s collection provides this generation to see primary documents,” said Loretta Parham, CEO and library director. “It’s the opportunity for them to relate something from the past to now.”
Pamela Anderson is $1 million in debt
The woman who was once considered (by some) to be the most beautiful female in the world has found herself in financial turmoil.
Los Angeles County Court records show Pamela Anderson owes $1.1 million to five construction companys and back taxes.
The companies were hired to to remodel Anderson’s home, but they claim they didn’t receive full payment. Pamela also owes $252,360 in back taxes to the IRS as well.
Ironically, Pamela’s ex-husband musician Kid Rock told the public a couple of years ago that Pamela wasn’t wealthy.
During an interview with Howard Stern in 2007, Kid Rock said Pamela doesn’t have a lot of money and “the worst thing in life is to be famous without money.”
Pamela became famous during the 1990s when she starred on the popular series “Baywatch” from 1992 to 1997. She graced the cover of Playboy magazine more than any women in the magazine’s history.
Conan O’Brien injured during Tonight Show
Conan O’Brien tried to perform his own stunt for a segment of “Tonight Show,” but it didn’t mix well with his clumsiness.
Conan hit his head Friday night while performing a stunt, according to the Associated Press. He was taken to the hospital, and producers pulled the plug on the episode and aired a rerun instead.
Conan released a statement jokingly saying “Last thing I remember I was enjoying the play with Mrs. Lincoln, and the next thing I knew I was in bed being served cookies and juice.”
Maybe next time Conan should hire a stunt double.
Megan Fox, U2 to appear on Saturday Night Live
We all know Megan Fox is the one of the most attractive young actresses in the game. But is she funny?
Fox’s comedy skills will be put to the test when she hosts Saturday Night Live tonight (Sept. 26). She will be featured in a variety of skits.
Fox is promoting her new horror film “Jennifer’s Body,” which is in theaters now. The film earned $16 million at the box office since it was released Sept. 18.
The lengendary band U2 will be the SNL musical guest. U2 members are promoting their latest CD “No Line on the Horizon.” They’re also in the middle of a world tour.

Tim Russert’s father died
Tim Russert’s father Timothy Russert Sr. died today (Sept. 25) in Buffalo, New York at age 85, according to a statement released by his family.
Also known as Big Russ, the public became familar with him because he was featured in the late Tim Russert’s book “Big Russ & Me.”
Russert Sr. died from natural causes. Funeral plans haven’t been announced.
