Jennifer Hudson gives birth to son
Oscar and Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson gave birth to a baby boy Monday.
The baby’s name is David Daniel Otunga Jr. He weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces.
Throughout her pregnancy, Hudson denied ever being pregnant. When entertainment magazines reported she was pregnant, her representatives immediately issued denial statements.
However, when Hudson performed during Michael Jackson’s funeral service, she could no longer hide the pregnancy.
The father, David Sr., is known for his appearance on the second season of the reality show “I Love New York.”
Hudson won an Oscar for her role in the hit film “Dreamgirls.” She was also a contestant on “American Idol” in 2004.
In 2008, her mother, nephew and brother were shot and killed in Chicago.
