A member of the Pussycat Dolls is planning to a release solo album.
But it’s not the lead singer Nicole Scherzinger. It’s Kimberly Wyatt, the Pussycat Doll that nobody knows. Wyatt says her CD will be dance pop music. A released date hasn’t been determined.
On a side note, there might be some bitter feelings among the Pussycat Dolls regarding Nicole Scherzinger.
During a concert performance, group member Melody Thornton told the audience “Thank you so much for supporting me – even if I’m not featured, you know what I’m saying?”
Thornton was referring to how two of the group’s songs were released as “The Pussycat Dolls featuring Nicole Scherzinger.

Amy Winehouse acquitted of assault charges
Singer Amy Winehouse was acquitted of assault charges against a fan.
Winehouse was on trial after a fan accused her of punching her in the face after she asked for an autograph.
Winehouse told the court she’s too short to punch anyone in the face because she’s only 5 foot 3 inches tall.
Apparently the court believed her.
However, in an unrelated incident, Winehouse was caught on tape throwing punches at her fans during a concert last year.
The brief video clip is posted below. As you can tell, she wasn’t too short to throw punches then.

Nas ordered to pay $44,000 in child support
Having a newborn baby has become expensive for rapper Nas.
A judge ordered Nas to pay $44,000 a month in child support to R&B singer Kelis.
Kelis gave birth July 22 to the ex-couple’s son named Knight Jones. Kelis filed for divorce in April (three months before the baby was born).
Kelis will get $44,000 a month for the child which is about $1,466 per day. That is one expensive baby.
What could that baby need that’s going to cost $1,466 per day? Bottles and diapers don’t cost that much.
Maybe I’m just jealous because I didn’t get $1,466 per day when my parents divorced.

Rupert Everett says Michael Jackson is a freak, Obama gone black
Has-been actor Rupert Everett was very blunt when discussing President Barack Obama and the late Michael Jackson.
In an interview with the UK publication Daily Mirror, Everett said Michael “was a freak.
“He looked like a character from Shrek. He was a black to white minstrel. He was crucified by that court case when he was accused of child molestation – that killed him. He personified the pain and anxiety of a black man in a slave country. We all watched as he changed from black to white.”
“He was living performance art. I think it was fortuitous that he died. He was supposed to be doing 50 concerts in London. It wouldn’t have mattered how good or bad he was. He wouldn’t have managed to do all of them and the press would have destroyed him.”
“We have Michael Jackson, a black man who has gone white, and we have President Barack Obama, who is a half-white man gone black. It’s absolutely fascinating to watch.”
I’m not sure what he meant by saying Obama has gone black, but I would like for him to elaborate on that comment in a future interview.

Lil Wayne refers to Michael Jackson as a homophobic slur
Rapper Lil Wayne is rapping crazy about the late Michael Jackson.
In a video posted on US Stream Web site, Lil Wayne begins a freestyle rap, and he refers to Michael as a gay slur.
If you fast foward the video clip to 2 minutes and 55 seconds, you will hear Lil Wayne say……
“I pledge allegiance to the flag
Michael Jackson is a (homophobic slur)
Coca Cola, 7-Up, Pepsi Cola burned him up.”
I’m not sure if the video clip was posted before Michael’s death or after. But Lil Wayne better be careful.
Michael is more popular now than ever. I’m sure he doesn’t want to be blacklisted by MJ’s fans as well as the gay community.
The video clip is posted below. Fast foward to 2:55.

Lil Kim and Cyndi Lauper performed a duet
During a celebration to recognize Nelson Mandela’s 91st birthday at Radio City Music Hall, rapper Lil Kim and 1980s pop singer Cyndi Lauper performed a duet.
The pair sang Lauper’s song “Time After Time” and Lil Kim’s song “Put Your Lighters Up.” Lil Kim sang, and Lauper rapped.
It was interesting to see this odd couple on stage performing together, however, the performance was terrible. Lil Kim sang off key during the entire performance.
Mandela wasn’t able to attend the ceremony because of health issues, but it’s good he wasn’t there to hear that mess. He would have been offended, and it have put him in an early grave.
The video clip of the performance is posted below.
