ESPN reporter videotaped naked
Erin Andrews is the attractive female reporter who can be seen reporting on the sidelines during football games on ESPN.
But some perpetrator (eager to see her naked) secretly videotaped her walking around her hotel room naked.
Her attorney released the following statement “While alone in the privacy of her hotel room, Erin Andrews was surreptitiously videotaped without her knowledge or consent.”
“She was the victim of a crime and is taking action to protect herself and help ensure that others are not similarly violated in the future. Although the perpetrator or perpetrators of this criminal act have not yet been identified, when they are identified she intends to bring both civil and criminal charges against them and against anyone who has published the material.”
“We request respect of Erin’s privacy at this time, while she and her representatives are working with the authorities.”
Now, the tape is being shopped around the Internet. Although it’s an embarrassment for Andrews and a clear invasion of privacy, it might help her career.
Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian all became famous and wealthier after their sex tapes hit the Web.

I think the big difference between this case and the others you mentioned are that they knew they were being taped. Maybe they did or didn’t want their tapes released but they willfully made the tapes before-unlike Erin Andrews situation where she was taped through a peephole without her consent. Pretty significant difference.

Life in America in 2009. This wouldn’t be news if it weren’t news. Think about that one for a minute. It’s only news because it’s titillating and the “news” has decided something that is so clearly NOT “news” IS, in fact, “news.” I imagine she would MUCH rather it not have been reported.
Forty years ago man walked on the moon.
Forty years later, this is passed off as news. How sad.
