R&B singer Chris Brown pleaded guilty in court June 22 on a felony count of assault.
Brown was accused of beating up his girlfriend singer Rihanna.
As part of the plea agreement, Brown will serve five years probation and perform 1,400 hours of community labor.
He avoided serving any jail time, but it’s unknown whether this scandal will have an effect on his musical career.
He’s currently in the studio recording a new CD.
