Rihanna will testify in court
R&B singer Rihanna has long avoided the courtroom and cameras ever since her then-boyfriend singer Chris Brown faced assault charges for beating her up.
However, her attorney says Rihanna will make an appearance in court next month during Brown’s preliminary hearing, according to the Associated Press.
But Rihanna isn’t voluntarily showing up to court. She will receive a subpoena that will require her to testify on the witness stand.
No one really knows what happened on the night Chris Brown beat her up, but we will soon find out Rihanna’s version of events next month when she tells her side of the story to the court.
