Jennifer Hudson is pregnant
Essence magazine is reporting that Oscar-winning actress and former American Idol contestant Jennifer Hudson is pregnant with her first child.
The father is her fiance David Otunga. Otunga was a contestant on the VH1 reality show “I Love New York 2.”
The couple are expected to get married sometime this year, but they won’t reveal the exact wedding date because they don’t want the paparazzi attending the wedding.
Hudson is currently on tour with Robin Thicke until May 8, which would give her plenty of time to prepare for having a baby.
Last year, Hudson’s mother, brother and nephew were murdered in Chicago. This baby will be a blessing for her after the nightmare she experienced during the past year.

I won’t judge them for having a baby out of wedlock, but my comments come from a different stand-point. I just feel like more couples should wait several years to have kids. I know I am not with them daily, so I can not judge or question their relationship, but I just wonder if they even really know each other yet… Besides that, I would think that they would want to enjoy life and each other, alone, before you start adding kids into the mix. I just feel that Jennifer and David, and most all couples, should be married for at least 3 years, before they start having kids. So they can travel together, party together, and just simply enjoy each other, before the stressful life of parenthood comes about. But then again, I’m not married and I do not have children; therefore I am not the best judge of this issue. But they need to do what’s best for them… plus, they probably will have several maids and nannies, so it’ll be like they don’t have kids anyways!
