Madonna’s adoption request was denied
Madonna’s hopes of adopting another child from Malawi have been dashed for now.
A Malawi court ruled that Madonna can’t adopt another child from the African country because she’s not a resident.
Parents who want to adopt a child from the country must live there for at least 18 months before the adoption is approved.
Madonna adopted her son David last year from Malawi.
Many critics said that adoption was approved only because she’s a celebrity.
I’m sure Madonna will probably appeal this ruling, and she will probably end up with another successful adoption.
