Toni Braxton sues her insurance company
R&B singer Toni Braxton is accusing her insurance company of being shady, and now she is suing them.
It all started in 2006 when Braxton had to cancel her long-running concerts in Las Vegas at the Flamingo Hotel due to heart complications.
Braxton alleges the insurance company was supposed to to pay for financial losses that occurred as result of the concert cancellations because it was part of her insurance plan that she purchased.
Good luck to Braxton trying to beat the insurance company in court. It seems like everyone gets screwed by insurance companies
I’ve had to tangle with insurance companies in the past when they refused to pay their portion of what they were supposed to pay for when it came to my dental and health bills.
It’s definitely no fun to deal with insurance companies, and I hope she wins.

Prince revealed he suffers from epilepsy
Legendary singer Prince was known for his flashy flamboyant style during the 1980s and 1990s.
But now, we might know the reason why he used to be so flashy–he suffers from epilepsy.
In an interview with Tavis Smiley on the PBS channel, Prince said “I’ve never spoken about this before but I was born epileptic,” the reclusive singer told PBS’s Tavis Smiley in an interview Monday night. “I used to have seizures when I was young. My mother and father didn’t know what to do or how to handle it but they did the best they could with what little they had.”
From that point on, I’ve been having to deal with a lot of things, getting teased a lot in school,” he said. “And early in my career I tried to compensate by being as flashy as I could and as noisy as I could.”
Prince is currently promoting his latest album “LotusFlow3r” which is currently in the top 20 on the Billboard charts.

Dennis Rodman ordered to pay $225,000
A judge ruled that former NBA star Dennis Rodman will have to pay to $225,000 for slapping the rear end of a 28-year-old Las Vegas waitress.
The woman claims the incident took place at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
She said after the incident, she was humiliated in front of her co workers and everyone else. So, she sued Rodman and she’s now a wealthy woman.
The good new is that she can probably quit her waitress job now.

Britney Spears hair weave fell out duing concert
Something very embarrassing happened to Britney Spears’ head. While she was performing a concert in Oakland California, some of her hair weave extensions fell out. It’s very humorous.
Take a look at the clip below. Some of her hair extensions fell out on the chair at about 14 seconds into the clip. Her hairstylist should be fired for sewing her weave tighter.

American Idol judge suffered from eating disorder
Kara DioGuardi is by far the most physically attractive person on American Idol’s judge’s panel. Which is why I was surprised to learn that she once suffered from an eating disorder.
In an interview with Extra TV, DioGuardi said she used to be a binge eater. “I had kind of a binge eating disorder where instead of dealing with my emotions, I would stuff them down with food. I actually went into a treatment center for it. It was definitely that excess eating to kind of just stuff all the emotions down. I really was a creative kid who didn’t know she was creative and didn’t have those outlets because I was always afraid to join the theater group and not perform.”
Looking at her whenever she’s on American Idol, I never would have knows she had an eating problem. She seems to have overcame it well.

Mike Tyson gives his opinion about Chris Brown
Former boxing champion Mike Tyson is weighing in on the Chris Brown and Rihanna situation.
When asked about the violent incident that took place earlier this year between Chris Brown and Rihanna, Tyson told MTV “My personal opinion about that is, he’s just a baby. He’s just a little baby that don’t know how to handle his emotions when it comes to a woman. And he probably hears this and thinks, ‘I know how to handle my emotions’ we all think we do. But the fact is, you look at this person and you might be crazy in love, but we don’t know how to handle those feelings.”
If anybody knows about domestic situations, it’s definitely Mike Tyson. During his career, he’s been accused of beating up his ex-wife (Robin Givens) and he was convicted of rape.
Tyson has been doing his rounds on the media circuit promoting a new documentary about his life. The documentary will be released in theaters Friday (April 24)

Jennifer Hudson is pregnant
Essence magazine is reporting that Oscar-winning actress and former American Idol contestant Jennifer Hudson is pregnant with her first child.
The father is her fiance David Otunga. Otunga was a contestant on the VH1 reality show “I Love New York 2.”
The couple are expected to get married sometime this year, but they won’t reveal the exact wedding date because they don’t want the paparazzi attending the wedding.
Hudson is currently on tour with Robin Thicke until May 8, which would give her plenty of time to prepare for having a baby.
Last year, Hudson’s mother, brother and nephew were murdered in Chicago. This baby will be a blessing for her after the nightmare she experienced during the past year.

Dolly Parton will remake “I Will Always Love You”
Country singer Dolly Parton is preparing to record a remake of her hit song “I Will Always Love You.”
Dolly will record the song as a duet with Broadway actress Stephanie J. Block. The song will appear on Block’s album this summer.
Dolly wrote and released “I Will Always Love You” in 1974, and Whitney Houston recorded a version of the song in the early 1990s for “The Bodyguard” soundtrack.
I know Dolly wrote “I Will Always Love You,” but I think she should leave it alone. She should not do a remake of that song.
Whitney already did a remake and made the song a huge success and brought Dolly millions of dollars of royalty checks.
When Dolly does this remake, I guarantee it won’t be able to hold a candle to Whitney’s version.

R&B singer Brandy is recording new album
If at first you don’t succeed, dust yourself and try again.
Brandy appears to be applying that motto to her musical career. Brandy is already back in the studio working on a new album.
Brandy’s latest album was just released five months ago, but it quickly faded from the charts, and it was considered a flop.
On the new album, she’s working with R&B singer/songwriter Ne-Yo and the production team Stargate, according to her Web site.
Brandy is also preparing to return to her acting roots. She will star in a new Fox television series titled “This Little Piggy.”

Actress will go on a hunger strike
Actress Mia Farrow announced that she is going on a hunger strike.
Farrow, 64, is outraged at the humanitarian crisis in Darfur, so therefore, she is going to stop eating.
Farrow said she will go on a “fast of only water as a personal expression of outrage at a world that is somehow able to stand by and watch nocent men, women and children needlessly die of starvation, thirst and disease.”
I feel bad for the people of Darfur, and I completely understand where she is coming from. However, I don’t belief her hunger strike will make a difference.
Going on a hunger strike won’t help the people suffering in Darfur. The only thing a hunger strike will do is cause Farrow to die hungry.

Paparazzi man said he didn’t cause Madonna’s fall
Madonna took a nasty fall during the weekend.
Madonna said she was riding on a horse when a paparazzi guy jumped out of the bushes and scared her, which caused her to fall off the horse.
However, the paparazzi guy said Madonna is lying. He said he shot photos of Madonna before she fell and right after she fell, but he wasn’t present for the actual fall.
Therefore, it’s Madonna’s own fault. Madonna suffered bruises, and she was taken to the hospital.
