Suze Orman says former President Bush owes America
Millions of Americans have been negatively affected by the crumbling economy, while former President George W. Bush still maintains his fortune.
What’s wrong with this picture? Many Americans blame the former president for the horrible economy because as America’s leader, his job was to leave Americans with a prosperous economy.
Instead, he left us with a hellhole.
In an interview with Women’s Wear Daily, CNBC financial hostess Suze Orman has some harsh words for Bush.
She said, Commander in Chief? You blew up every single financial vessel we had and if you think you aren’t personally responsible, well, the blame starts at the top. There is no higher top than you, SIR! If I were you, I would feel so absolutely horrific that I would take every penny I had and distribute it to anybody and everybody to help them in whatever way I could. You owe the American people every penny of your fortune and your family’s fortune.
I think Orman’s words were very well put. I’m not sure what Bush was doing during those eight years in the White House, but I know he wasn’t keeping an eye on the economy.
If I were him, I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night.

Kelly Osbourne discusses her drug use
In the latest issue of People magazine, Kelly Osbourne opens up about her past drug use for which she went to rehab three times.
Here is an excerpt from the article courtesy of People magazine.
“I had my tonsils taken out at age 13, and they gave me liquid Vicodin. I found, when I take this, people like me. I’m having fun, I’m not getting picked on. It became a confidence thing.”
“I knew if I didn’t get help, I would die. I’m getting a second chance at my career,” she says, “and I want to be present for it.”
Good for her for realizing she had a problem. She’s only 24 years old, so it’s not too late for her to turn her life around.

President Obama apologized for comments about Special Olympics
President Barack Obama issued an apology in reference to a comment he made about the Special Olympics while appearing on “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno.
During his appearance on the show March 19, the president was talking about how terrible his bowling skills are. He compared his bowling skills to the athlete’s skills in the Special Olympics. (Which is for athletes who have disabilities).
After realizing what he did, the president called Special Olympics chairman Tim Shriver to apologize.
On “Good Morning America,” Shriver said the president “expressed his disappointment and he apologized in a way that was very moving. He expressed that he did not intend to humiliate this population.”
”I think it’s important to see that words hurt and words do matter. And these words that in some respect can be seem as humiliating or a put down to people with special needs do cause pain and they do result in stereotypes.”
Shriver also said the president expressed interest in inviting some of the Special Olympics athletes to the White House to play basketball or to bowl.
He insults them then he invites them to the White House. Is that how he operates now?
On a serious note, I believe the president is genuinely sorry for his remarks. He was talking with Jay Leno, so he was probably just trying to be funny, which is okay.
But next time he should be funny by making jokes about Republicans or his other political rivals, and he should leave the Special Olympics alone.

Is LeAnn Rimes having an affair?
Is country singer LeAnn Rimes having an affair? That’s what reporters at US Weekly magazine are alleging.
Rimes is on the cover of the magazine, and the story is about an alleged affair that Rimes had with her co-star Eddie Cibrian.
The two met while filming the television movie “Northern Lights.”
The magazine, which is on newstands today, shows photos from a surveillance camera that shows them holding hands and kissing during a dinner date in Laguna Beach.
Rimes is currently married to Dean Sheremet. She used to be known as the good girl of country music, but I assume that has all changed now.
In a message posted on her Web site, Rimes responded to the cover story. She said “This is a difficult time for me and my loved ones, but I appreciate all your continued support. I would like to assure all of you that this (Rimes’ Web site) is a place for you to hear things directly from me and, as you all know, not everything in our lives is always black and white.”

Aubrey O’Day said she might be gay
Former Danity Kane member Aubrey O’Day is dropping some more hints about her sexuality.
In an interview with MTV, O’Day said “Everybody deserves basic human rights. I mean, I’m a huge supporter of the gay community — possibly a member myself, you never know. And I definitely feel like, I don’t care what you are in life, gay, straight, trans, whatever you are, whatever color you are, whatever you believe in, everybody deserves basic human rights.”
She just said she is “possibly” a member of the gay community herself. During an interview with US Weekly magazine a few months ago, she was dropping hints about her sexuality then as well.
She has been working on a solo album ever since she was kicked out of the group Danity Kane, and she needs to generate some publicity, so I believe she is trying use her sexuality to sell records.
