Remember way back in the day when MTV actually aired music videos?

They since replaced music videos with 24-hour reality shows such as “The Real World” and “The Hills.”

Now, the network announced it will start airing music videos again.  However, you will have to wake up early in the morning if you want to see them.

They will air the videos from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. Mondays through Thursdays.  The remaining programming block will continue to be filled withe reality shows.

Here is some trivia.  The first video that aired on MTV was “Video Killed The Radio Star” by The Buggles back in 1981.  The second video “You Better Run” by Pat Benatar.
