Anna Nicole Smith’s boyfriend and doctors face charges

Prosecutors filed charges March 12 against Anna Nicole Smith’s boyfriend Howard K. Stern and two doctors for illegally supplying Smith with prescription drugs.
The two doctors are Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich.
The California Attorney General released a statement that said “These individuals repeatedly and excessively furnished thousands of prescription pills to Anna Nicole Smith, often for no legitimate medical purpose.”
The prescription drugs ultimately led to Smith’s death in 2007.
According to the affidavit, Kapoor is accused of writing prescriptions for Smith, but listed them under an alias, and unnecessarily providing her with drugs, knowing that she was a drug addict.
The other doctor, Ehrosevich, is accused of prescribing Stern with medication who then gave the medication to Smith.
