Tyler Perry wants to kill Madea
Athough “Madea Goes To Jail’ has spent two weeks at number one at the box office, raking in more than $65 million since its release date, the film’s director and star Tyler Perry said he wants to kill off the Madea character.
In an interview with the Associated Press, Perry said “I would love to see Madea die a slow death in the next film. It’s all one suit that I’m zipped into, so it’s all heavy. The hips are heavy. And the more I sweat, the heavier it gets. I see why women have back problems who have large breasts. Holding those things upright can be tough.”
Before Perry kills Madea, he will make at least one more film using the character on the big screen. “Madea’s Class Reunion” will be released in theaters sometime in 2010.
Personally, I would like to see a movie titled “Madea Goes on Vacation” or “Madea Goes To The Hood” or “Madea Goes To College.”
It would be humorous if he did those.

I think that people will loose interest, and stop watching his movies, if they know that Madea won’t be in any of his future movies. Yes, he’s had movies that have done well without Madea. But, those were more-less “space-fillers” until we got to see Madea again! And don’t get me wrong. I’m a die-hard Tyler fan!! I wish him the best of luck and I’ll support ANY film that he does!!
