Nicole Richie is pregnant
Nicole Richie and her boyfriend Good Charlotte singer Joel madden are expecting their second child together.
The announcement was made on the band Good Charlotte’s Web site. Richie gave birth to their first child Harlow in January 2008.

Clay Aiken loses record deal
Season two American Idol contestant Clay Aiken and his record company RCA Records have broken up.
According to Billboard, Aiken and the record lable went their separate ways after his latest album “On My Way There” only sold 159,000 copies since it was released in May 2008.
Aiken placed second during season two of American Idol. He lost to Ruben Studdard.
Placing second on the popular talent show doesn’t necesarily translate into success.
Justin Guarini placed second on season one, Katherine McPhee placed second on season five, Blake Lewis placed second on season six, Bo Bice placed second on season four, Taylor Hicks placed first on season five and Ruben Studdard won season two.
Yet, all of them eventually lost their record deals.

President Obama is more popular than Jesus Christ
President Barack Obama is more popular than our savior Jesus Christ.
According to a new Harris Poll released this week, Americans named President Obama as their number one hero. Jesus Christ came in second place and Martin Luther King Jr. placed third.
Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, Abraham Lincoln, John McCain, John F. Kennedy and Mother Teresa also made the list.
Although I think President Obama is a good guy, there’s no way I would rank him ahead of Jesus if I was participating in this poll.
Considering the fact that Jesus is God’s right-hand man, and he probably will help determine whether I go to heaven or hell, I think it’s safe to say that my vote will go to Jesus on this one.

Katherine McPhee to guest star on CSI: New York
American Idol season five runner-up Katherine McPhee will guest star on the hit television crime drama “CSI New York.”
She will play a singer on an episode that will air sometime in April on CBS.
Since she competed on American Idol in 2006, McPhee has had a rocky career ride.
Her self-titled debut album flopped in 2007 causing her record company RCA Records to drop her from the label.
She has since rebounded with a new record deal with Verve Records and an acting appearances on “Ugly Betty,” “The House Bunny” and “Crazy.”

Photos of Rihanna’s injuries after attack by Chris Brown
TMZ published the first police photos that shows the injuries and bruises that singer Rihanna suffered during an alleged incident with her then boyfriend R&B singer Chris Brown.
Brown was arrested Feb. 8 accused of assaulting Rihanna.
As you can see, she has two black eyes, two bumps on her forehead and bloody swollen lips.
After seeing the photos , I am no longer a Chris Brown fan, and I will NEVER support his entertainment career again.
The photos are very disturbing. The only reason I am posting them is because everyone needs to understand how cruel domestic violence is. This issue is real and should not be swept under the rug.
Just because someone is a famous talented entertainer, that doesn’t mean they should be able to get away with abuse.
These photos likely will spark outrage, and that’s a good thing. Maybe people will start pressuring their politicians to pass tougher penalties for abusers.

Chris Rock’s brother arrested
Comedian Chris Rock’s little brother Tony Rock was arrested this week accused of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Rock, 34, was pulled over by police for speeding on the 101 Highway in California.
He also allegedly failed a sobriety test, so they arrested him.
Rock is a stand-up comedian who is following in his big brother’s footsteps.
He recently had a regular role on the sitcom “All of Us” starring Duane Martin.
Ludacris loves white people
While performing at a Las Vegas club this week rapper Ludacris gave a shout out to all white people.
He said “If it wasn’t for the white people, I wouldn’t be selling 2 to 3 million records. I love yall.”
That’s cool that he loves white people. But what about the non-white people who purchased his records? (such as myself). Do I not get a shout out too?
But seriously, I also would like to thank white people for reading my blogs. If it wasn’t for white people, I wouldn’t be getting these massive amount of Web site hits. I love yall.

Usher’s wife released from hospital
R&B singer Usher’s wife Tameka Raymond was released from the hospital after recovering for 11 days from cardiac arrest.
Raymond went to to Brazil to undergo a liposuction procedure, when she had a reaction to the anesthesia which resulted in a cardiac arrest.
Doctors revived her within one minute and she was put into an induced coma.
She recently had a second child with Usher, and she hasn’t dropped her baby weight yet, so I guess she wanted to lose it fast through liposuction.

MC Hammer will star in his own reality show
MC Hammer is returning to the spotlight later this year with a new reality show.
The show titled “Hammertime” will air on the A&E network.
Cameras will follow Hammer as he interacts with his wife and children while he pursues his entrepreneurial endeavors.
MC Hammer became a superstar during the 1990s with his hits “U Can’t Touch This,” “Too Legit To Quit” and “This Is The Way We Roll.”

Jackson Five member wants to build a slavery theme park
The Jackson family has always had a reputation for being somewhat odd, but this story takes the cake. Jackson Five member Marlon Jackson is planning to create a slavery theme park in Nigeria.
According to the UK Telegraph, the site would feature a theme park with a slave ship replica, casinos, shops, condominiums and a golf course.
The project is aimed at attracting African-American tourists who want to trace their slave roots back to Nigeria.
Critics say the developers are exploiting slave history.
People who visit the park can walk onto the slave ship and then play golf or swim in the pool. Jackson Five memorabilia also will be nearby.
The BBC quoted a critic as saying “This plan is morally reprehensible, it’s like dancing on the graves of dead people and telling them you’re honoring them.”
I understand the idea behind the project and why someone would want to build something historic. However, I think this should be placed in a real historic exhibit or a museum.
I don’t think turning a slavery exhibit into a fun theme park is the appropriate way to honor slaves.

Michael Jackson is having an auction
Most Americans all across the country are feeling the effects from the worsening economy, and celebrities are no different.
Michael Jackson is latest the celebrity to sink into financial trouble.
Jackson plans to sell more than 2,000 of his personal belongings during auction in April.
The items include a Harley Davidson, a limousine, his platinum and gold records, socks, artwork, music award trophies, his famous gloves and a basketball autographed by Michael Jordan.
Jackson has been plagued with financial trouble during the past few years, and creditors even threatened to foreclose on his world famous Neverland Ranch.

Gary Collins charged with DUI
Gary Collins was charged Feb. 17 with drunken driving. If convicted, this will be his third offense.
According to the Associated Press, police said Collins was arrested Jan. 31 in California where his blood alcohol level registered at .29, which is more than three times the legal limit.
Collins starred in the television show “The Sixth Sense” during the 1970s.
He also hosted the Miss America Pageant in 2000 and made guest appearances on the “The Young and the Restless,” “Jag,” “Baywatch Nights” and “Charlie’s Angels.”
Mickey Rourke disses Courtney Love
Rumors have been swirling around the tabloid publications that actor Mickey Rourke and singer Courtney Love are dating. Rourke recently addressed the rumor head on.
When asked by a paparazzi guy if he was dating Courtney Love, Rourke replied “I’d rather be on a deserted island with a gorilla.”
Ouch!! Now I know Courtney Love isn’t the most attractive person in the world, but neither is Mickey Rourke. He has no room to talk.
He should probably take a look at himself in the mirror. I don’t think too many women find him appealing to the eye either.

Music producer Suge Knight was beaten
When hip hop producer Suge Knight was president of Death Row records several years ago, he had a reputation for intimidating people and beating them up whenever his temper flared.
Now, the tables have turned. Authorities said Knight was beaten up at a hotel party in Scottsdale, Arizona on Feb. 16.
According to Yahoo News, two men were arrested in the brawl, and one of the men was an associate of R&B singer Akon.
No word yet on who or what caused the fight.
Knight produced hit songs for Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and the late Tupac Shakur.

Forbes magazine recently ranked the most bankable celebrities. The rankings are based on a survey sent to industry experts to determine who has the most financial clout in Hollywood.

Kenny Chesney has slept with more than 100 women
Country singer Kenny Chesney has been recently bragging about his sexual conquests.
In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, he revealed that he has had a sex with more than 100 women.
He said “Man, I was over 100 several years ago. I can’t believe I’m actually saying this on the record: That was probably back in 2001. I had a good time in college, I really did,”
Chesney revealed that 100 number in an effort to stop rumors that he is gay. Rumors about his sexuality began swirling around the gossip magazines and tabloids after he and actress Renee Zellweger divorced.
In the divorce proceedings, Zellweger cited “fraud” as their reason for divorcing.
Chesney said “I talked to my attorney and her attorney. In order for us to get an annulment, the legal papers could claim either physical abuse, which wasn’t true, or three or four other things that also weren’t true. The best thing we could put in there was fraud. So I said, ‘All right, do it. Whatever.”
Chesney also said “That is the most unbelievable thing in the world. Because Renee cited fraud, Kenny’s got to be gay.’ What guy who loves girls wouldn’t be angry about that s**t? I didn’t sign up for that. I think people need to live their lives the way they want to, but I’m pretty confident in the fact that I love girls. I’ve got a long line of girls who could testify that I am not gay.”
For the record, I do think Chesney is 100 percent straight. However, I think he should know that just because he’s slept with more than 100 women, that doesn’t mean that he’s more of a man, and it doesn’t mean that he has game.
What it does mean is that he needs to go to the doctor to have himself checked out because he might have an STD. All of those 100 women need to have themselves tested too.
He shouldn’t let all that attention go to his head either because the only reason he was able to sleep with 100 women is because he’s a singer, he’s wealthy and he’s famous.

Lance Armstrong’s bicycle was stolen
Lance Armstrong’s bicycle was stolen during the weekend from a rental truck parked behind a hotel in Sacramento.
Armstrong said the bicycle is one of a kind because theres no other like it in the world.
He’s offering a reward for information that leads to the bike’s whereabouts. I have a feeling the perpetrator who stole the bike probably just wants to be able to ride as fast as Armstrong does.
And what better way than to take his bike. The $10,000 bicycle is posted below. As you can see, it doesn’ t look like it’s worth $10,000.
