Usher’s wife suffered cardiac arrest
R&B singer Usher’s wife was hospitalized earlier this week in Brazil due to complications from cosmetic surgery.
The doctor’s representative revealed Tuesday (Feb. 12) exactly what those complications were. He said the wife Tameka Raymond suffered from cardiac arrest while under anesthesia to prepare for liposuction.
She was then put in a coma until she recovered. As a result of the incident, the liposuction was never actually performed.
The death of Kanye West’s mother (who died from liposuction complications) serves as a reminder of how dangerous this procedure can be. It should only be done on people who are morbidly obese.
Usher’s wife was not morbidly obese. In fact, she was skinny.
She just gave birth to their second child together and she hadn’t lost all of her baby weight, so I guess she tried to take a shortcut and have liposuction to get rid of the excess baby weight.
Not a good idea.

She’s been touched by an angel, because not everybody is as lucky as she is. First of all, to be able to even afford liposuction and secondly, to have mad it through such a terrible thing… I think if Usher can pay for her to get lipo, he can pay for her to get a personal trainer!!
