New music video: Us Against The World by Christina Milian
Christina Milian will release her fourth album titled “Dream in Color” in April.
The first single from the album is titled “Us Against the World.” The video is posted below.
Milian played alongside ex-boyfriend Nick Cannon in the 2003 film “Love Don’t Cost A Thing.”
She also played in the 2005 film “Be Cool” with John Travolta and Danny DeVito.

Janet Jackson postpones tour in Japan
Janet Jackson is postponing her tour in Japan due to the financial crisis.
According the BBC, the concert promoter said the shows will be postponed due to the impact of the economic crisis.
ast year, Janet canceled most of her dates during her North American tour due to an illness.
It seems like this tour was doomed from the start.
However, I was forntunate to attend her concert when she performed in Tulsa last October.

Rumer Willis opens up about stepfather Ashton Kutcher
Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughter actress Rumer Willis opened up about having Ashton Kutcher as a stepfather.
There is an age gap between the couple. When they married in 2005, Demi was 43 and Ashton was 27 years old — only 10 years older than Rumer.
In an interview with the UK Daily Mail, she said ‘He’s like a friend as well as a stepdad. We talk about everything, auditions, boyfriends, family. He understands more than my parents sometimes because he’s closer to my age.
Ash was a heart throb, to me. ‘I had pictures of him on my wall at boarding school, and I remember my mom saying that her new friend Ashton was going to come and hang out with us. And I said, “Whoa, wait. Ashton Kutcher?” and I kind of freaked out a little bit. I definitely blushed.”
“But I got over any strangeness because I’d never seen my mom happier. It was like watching two 16-year-olds who were going to the prom together and were totally in love.”
I’m assuming she looks to Ashton as more of a big brother instead of a stepfather figure because they are so close in age.
But it’s kind of freaky to think that she used to have a crush on her stepfather though.
Rumer has been following in her parents acting footsteps. She will have several movies released this including “Wild Cherry” Feb. 16 in which she stars alongside Rob Schneider, Tia Carrere and Oklahoma native Ryan Merriman.
Her horror film “Sorority Row” is in theaters.

Michael Jackson’s Thriller is coming to Broadway
It’s one of the most popular music videos in history, and it set off a dance craze where everyone tried to mimic the choreography.
Now, Michael Jackson’s music video for “Thriller” will be turned into a Broadway musical.
Producer James Nederlander recently bought the rights to bring the music video to Broadway.
It hasn’t been determined which songs will be included in the show or what the story line will be. I’m interested in seeing who will be cast as Michael Jackson.

Dakota Fanning in discussions to play in Twilight sequel
Dakota Fanning revealed during an interview that she is in discussions to play the role of Jane in the movie “New Moon.”
“New Moon” is the sequel to “Twilight.”
Fanning told Entertainment Tonight, “I really hope that works out. It would be interesting, really fun to be a part of. I’m a huge fan of all those actors. So, it’s too soon to tell right now, but I really hope that it does happen.”
I think Fanning will be a good choice for a role in this movie, especially if she plays a vampire. She has proved throughout her career that she is capable of performing any type of role.
Assuming she gets the role, she will begin filming in March.

Tyler Perry sued by contractors
Filmaker Tyler Perry is being sued by construction workers. Perry is well known for directing “Madea’s Family Reunion,” “Diary of a Mad Black Woman” and the upcoming film “Madea Goes To Jail.
According to the Atlanta Constitution Journal newspaper, six construction firms filed suit claiming Perry owes them about $200,000 in unpaid bills. The contractors were hired to work on his home and his new movie studio.
Perry is claiming he only withheld the money because the work was shoddy.
During the interview, one contractor said “He wanted to do it his way. He wouldn’t take any advice. I guess in Hollywood it works that way, but not in real life.”
I can understand where Perry is coming from. If you pay someone hundreds of thousands of dollars to do construction on your dream home and your studio, you want everything to be perfect.
However, he hired six contractors, and they built the structures for him. He wasn’t happy with any of the six contractor’s work, and I think he might be overly picky.
Maybe next time, he should just do the work himself since he’s never satisfied.

LFO singer says Jennifer Love Hewitt cheated on him
Remember the group LFO? They had a few hits during the late 1990s including “Summer Girls” and “Girl on TV.”
The lead singer Rich Cronin gave an interview on Howard Stern’s radio show, and he offered up some juicy details about his two-year relationship with actress Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Here are some excerpts from the interview:
“She gave me a ring. She goes, ‘Listen, I want to marry you. We’re going to be together forever.”
Cronin went on to discuss how Jennifer gave another man that exact same ring. The man just happened to be Jeff Timmons from the pop group 98 Degrees.
“Jeff goes, ‘Hey, you and me have something in common… Jennifer Love Hewitt. I had always asked her about that. ‘Did you ever get with this guy?’ And she was like, ‘No, no, no.’ So when that happened, I was lost. This was two years ago. It was rough, man.”
Cronin said they met backstage at a Blockbuster Awards show.
“We had the same publicist, so I started to talk to her and I couldn’t believe it. She kept talking to me and talking to me. She was actually interested. Later on that night, she gave me her number. I was floored. I was so anxious about calling her.
I actually got a notebook and wrote down all these subjects, like, ‘Okay, so when there is a quiet point, I’ll talk about this. I actually called her up and she answered the phone and we talked for like two hours.”
He also revealed that she cheated on him during their relationship, but he said when they first slept together “She looked great naked. I couldn’t believe it was happening. I have nothing bad to say about her.”
When describing their break up, he said “She was in New York doing a movie, and I get a phone call from someone at my record company. They go ‘Rich get Us Weekly. It just came out. I’m thinking maybe there is something cool about me. No, it was a f***ing thing about Jennifer Love Hewitt in New York City with seven guys.”
“I was on the bed having a panic attack, so I called her up and was like, ‘Do you have something to say to me?’ I was the girl in this relationship. And she goes, ‘Listen, don’t you f***king call me up like this when I am at work. If you believe that bull***t, shame on you. She hung up. She goes, “I am out of this relationship. Goodbye, I have to go do The Tonight Show’ and hung up the phone. And that was it.”
This is stunning to me. I had no idea that Jennifer Love Hewitt had the ability to run game like that. Yes, Rich Cronin was treated in a disrespectful manner, and I feel bad for him. But now, I have a lot of respect for Jennifer Love Hewitt because she is a true playa in my book. Play on Playette.

Aubrey Coleman steps on Chase Budinger’s face
Chase Budinger Aubrey Coleman
The University of Arizona basketball player Chase Budinger’s face literally got stepped on by University of Houston player Aubrey Coleman during a college basketball game Saturday.
It doesn’t really look like Coleman intentionally stepped on his face, the referee ejected Coleman from the game anyway.

Lil Wayne is releasing a rock album
Rap star Lil Wayne is leaving his hip hop skills at home.
His new album “Rebirth” will be in stores April 7, and it will be a rock music album. The first single “Prom Queen” will be out Jan. 27.
He has dominated the hip hop radio stations and charts during the past few years, so it’s probably not challenging for him anymore.
So, I guess he’s trying to take over the rock and roll genre as well.
Last year, he performed at a country music awards show with Kid Rock.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he tried to release a country album soon.
I can’t blame him for being for being ambitious.

Tom Hanks apologizes to Mormons
Actor Tom Hanks issued an apologize to Mormons for calling them un-American.
While promoting his film at the “Big Love” movie premiere, Hanks discussed how Mormons were involved in banning gayl marriage in California during the Proposition 8 vote.
He said, “The truth is a lot of Mormons gave a lot of money to the church to make Prop-8 happen. There are a lot of people who feel that is un-American, and I am one of them.”
After being heavily criticized for those comments, Hanks released the following statement.
“Last week, I labeled members of the Mormon church who supported California’s Proposition 8 as un-American. I believe Proposition 8 is counter to the promise of our Constitution; it is codified discrimination. But everyone has a right to vote their conscience — nothing could be more American. To say members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints who contributed to Proposition 8 are un-American creates more division when the time calls for respectful disagreement. No one should use un- American lightly or in haste. I did. I should not have.”
If Hanks feels the need to apologize to Mormons, then good for him. However, I don’t think this apology was sincere. He only apologized because he was receiving criticism.
If he truly feels that people who don’t support gay marriage are un-American, then he should let his original comment stand and stop apologizing.

George Clooney will return to ER
It has long been rumored that George Clooney might return to the television drama “ER” during the show’s final season.
Now, it’s official. Clooney’s former “ER” co-star Noah Wyle confirmed to US Weekly magazine that Clooney will return during the season finale.
Clooney played Dr. Doug Ross on the show for six seasons from 1994 to 2000.
The finale will air April 2 on NBC.
Kelly Osbourne enters rehab
Kelly Osbourne has checked herself into reab this week for 30 days.
Her spokesperson issued a statement that said “Kelly Osbourne has voluntarily entered a medical facility to address some personal issues. Her family stands by and supports her.”
It’s unknown what she is being treated for, but five years ago she went to rehab to help kick a painkiller addiction.
Kelly’s behavior has been extremely bizarre during the past year. She was recently arrested for slapping a gossip columnist who made jokes about her boyfriend.

“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” is the leading contender with 13 nominations including nominations for Brad Pitt and Taraji P. Henson (in photo above).
“Slumdog Millionaire” recieved 10 and “The Dark Knight” earned eight nominations including a nomination for the late Heath Ledger.

Colin Powell dances at inaugural party
Colin Powell is proving more and more that he has some black in him.
He endorsed Barack Obama for president, and now he was caught on camera dancing to a Wyclef Jean performance during the BET inaugural party.
Although his dancing wasn’t all that good, the fact that he was trying to dance like a hip guy is very commendable.

Caroline Kennedy will no longer seek Senate seat
It looks like there won’t be any more Kennedy’s in the Senate this year.
Caroline Kennedy withdrew her name from consideration in replacing Hilary Clinton’s Senate spot.
Kennedy released a statement that said “I informed Governor Paterson today that for personal reasons I am withdrawing my name from consideration for the United States Senate,”
Gov. Paterson is expected to make his selection by Saturday. Clinton resigned from her Senate seat Jan. 21 after she was confirmed for the position of secretary of state.

Matt Dillon pleaded not guilty to excessive speeding
Matt Dillon pleaded not guilty in court Jan. 21 for speeding.
Dillon’s lawyer entered the plea and told the judge he hopes to resolve this matter without going through a trial.
The actor was arrested Dec. 30 accused of driving 106 miles-per-hour in Vermont when the speed limit was 65 mph.
He was booked on a complaint of excessive speeding.
Serena Williams dances at Ludacris concert
Tennis star Serena Williams attended a Ludacris concert where she got on stage and started dancing and shaking her rear end.
