Country singer Taylor Swift is spending a seventh week at number one on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart.

The last time an artist spent seven weeks at number one was in 2004 with Usher’s ”Confessions” album.

Another surprise of the week was American Idol winner David Cook’s debut album saw a 58 percent increase in sales which pushed the album from number 18 to number 10.

4. Notorious Soundtrack by Various Artists – 43,000 copies

5. 808s and Heartbreak by Kanye West – 40,000 copies

6. Twilight Soundtrack by Various Artists – 36,000 copies

7. Circus by Britney Spears – 34,000 copies

8. Intuition by Jamie Foxx – 33,000 copies

9. A Different Me by Keyshia Cole – more than 31,000 copies

10. David Cook by David Cook – 31,000 copies
