Lil Kim bashes Faith Evans and Notorious B.I.G’s mother
Rapper Lil Kim is furious with singer Faith Evans and Notorious B.I.G’s mother Voletta Wallace over the way she was portrayed in the upcoming film “Notorious.”
Here’s the brief back story… Faith Evans and Notorious B.I.G. were married until he was murdered in 1997. During their marriage, he had a high profile affair with Lil Kim. Therefore, there was always a feud between Kim and Faith.
In an interview with Hip Hop Weekly magazine, Lil Kim is talking trash about Faith and Voletta. An excerpt from the interview which was posted on Media Take Out Web site is below.
Interviewer: What are some of the discrepancies with the movie?
Lil Kim: There were so many. They were disrespecting me terrible in that script but the one that sticks out to me was in a scene allegedly when Ms. Wallace came to see one of Biggie’s shows for the first time and I was supposed to be so mad at him about something that I pulled my panties off on stage and mooned the crowd with my (explicative)… What the (explicative)?? Come on, don’t you think that would’ve been in the history archives? They’re using Lil Kim to sensationalize their bulls— lying’-a– story. That was the last version of the script I saw, which somebody had snuck to me, ’cause people didn’t want me to see it.
Interviewer: Have you spoken with Faith and Ms. Wallace?
Lil Kim: : No. Honestly, I don’t have no words for them. But, one thing I will say is, I’ve had enough and I’m about to expose them both. That’s it. I’ve been quiet for a long time. You don’t hear me talking about none of them, and to be honest with you I’m really disappointed in Faith. I remember a few years ago she did a magazine interview where she talked about having a lot of respect and love for me. She said, “Kim was Biggie’s girlfriend and I was Biggie’s wife,” and how that was hard for her to deal with. Then later on she writes a book and in it she tried to change it and say some stupid s— about how I was his jump off. I laugh at her because I remember years ago being in the studio with my then boyfriend at the time, Scott Storch.
We’re in the studio, Faith was in another room and she called Scott’s phone and said “Oh Kim’s with you? Tell her I said hi and that I got love for her and hope that her and I can talk soon and be friends.” I was like “wow!” I thought that was really big, considering that I’m a woman who her husband was in love with. I felt like that was real big.
Me and Scott even thought of doing a record with her, thinking about how big it would’ve been for hip hop and for the Biggie family. She even sent her daughter China, who I love and took care of sometimes down to me, and China was like, “I love you Kim and my mom told me to tell you she loves you and hi.” But, here we go years later, I guess the funds must be low; because somebody told Faith, “you gotta write a book and you gotta come at Kim in the book.” It shocked me, ’cause I thought we had come to some kind of unity. I thought it was really tasteless. She could never play poker because she already exposed her hand. Faith, you know me, I’m an extremist I go hard. Once I start I don’t stop. Why would you wake up this sleeping giant?
Interviewer: And, what about Ms. Wallace?
Lil Kim: : There’s nothing Faith or Ms. Wallace could do to stop me from reppin’ B.I.G. all day. I’m gonna always do that. They want to talk about people exploiting Biggie, to me this is the worst way you could exploit his name; by disrespecting people who was around him who he had major love for. The truth is gonna be known. Like how a while back Ms. Wallace was on the radio talking about how we never mourned together and that she never knew me.
It’s crazy ’cause she and I lived together in Biggie’s house for almost eight months after Biggie died. On top of all that, out of the kindness of my heart and the love I had for Biggie, I share five percent of my publishing with Ms. Wallace; just out of love, making sure that if I ate, she and the kids ate. And at the end of the day, this is how she repays me? It’s time for Ms. Wallace to be exposed.

I think it’s pretty low for Lil Kim to verbally attacking Ms Wallace in this interview. She did lose her only son to a senseless act of murder. Also, there’s no reason for her to be mad at Faith Evans either because Kim shouldn’t have been messing around with a married man in the first place.

The movie was wack!!! Anyone that knew Chris knows it did’nt go down like this ! A whole lot of players missin in this made 4 bootlegger! You really could’nt identify with the faces portrayin the characters.Naturi was good though. This movie is for people that don’t have a clue! Believe me ,a lot was fantasy. That was low for her to say that about Faith and Ms. Wallace…in my eyes she was the jump off! If he was sooo in love with her why didn’t he marry her…after he died I read some articles saying that she was pregant by Biggie too and he told her to have an abortion…again she says he was soooo in love with her..he married Faith and thats whe he wanted to make his wife not a jump off!!!!! First & Foremost, if you all saw the movie, you could tell that there was major collaboration Faith Evans. I did not know that his mother also had something to do with it, but it is wrong how they showcased Kim in the movie. Nevertheless, they made Biggie out to be a bad person as well, because what it seems to me was that he was a female shovenist, who did not assume responsibilites for his older daughter TT, but played stepdad to Chyna, as a mother, that was pure bull. I got mad respect for Kim because even though Faith was probably the wife, Kim had been his long term companion, whether you want to face it or not, it is realistical. Kim’s depiction in this movie is horrible & people expect her to be all whoop-ti-doo… Bull****!! It is wrong, reverse the roles and see what it would be like if it were you. Kim is still a person whether married or not Biggie was just as wrong as her. True enough, Faith was the wife, the point still remains, had they not gotten married in only 3 weeks, then all of this would not have been an issue. He was young, and it was obvious that he was very ambitious and had an exigent desire to do whatever it was that he wanted to do. As a parent, Mrs. Wallace should not have gotten in between the drama that Kim and Faith has. Although she has lost her son and wants people to see the big picture, the feud between Faith & Kim is not to be ridiculed because the entire story will never come out. Biggie is gone, his memory lives on!! Let the BS die…. Kim, defend yourself! Faith, I am shocked at you! Mrs. Wallace, I will pray for you!
IT does take two to make a relationship of any kind happen, but at the same time, it doesn’t mean both people are on the same page. What does KIm want? To make it seem like they were so in love would be fantasy. HE was screwing her!!!!! A man will tell you what you want, buy you what you want, and whatever to have that ass anytime they want it, but that is not love. He recognized Faith when he was living, he didn’t recognize Kim as anything but the homegirl always. I saw the real life story of Lil Kim on VH1 and from watching the movie, it seems that Biggie just wanted them to make alot of money, when he blew up he made sure kim got exposure too. I think that is love. If she was a jump off he could of just left her in brooklyn. Biggie was no man, he was a player, all he wanted was weed and women, he respected none of them they were just females. I think the whole entire debate, with Kim, Ms. Wallace, and Faith is childish. The movie was soooooooo dumb. Regardless what I think of any of the artists, I think it was done in poor taste and Angela Basette and Derek Luke are not true to the craft. That was a paycheck. Angela was a headliner and Derek….was certainly NO DIDDY! I can not believe in this day and time people would be willing to sign their name to light porn and garbage. Yes Halle Berry too! I rent movies and if they are good, I’ll buy them, I do not do Boot-legging, but I can understand why some people do. The songs, and movies are only for the artist, no the audience. Longevity will take you along way, ask Cicily Tyson, Harry Belefonte, Sidney Poitier, Danny Glover, even the talented type cast Ms. Jennifer Lewis. Derek and Angela should give the proceed of their check to Christopher Wallace’s kids. Put in in an escrow account, or a college fund. They are going to need it when the day is over. I would be happy too. That is some terrible carma to get attached too.
