Akon pleads guilty to tossing a fan off the stage.
Hip hop star Akon was sentenced this week to 65 hours of community service for tossing a 15-year-old fan off the stage last year.
Akon pleaded guilty to charge as part of a plea agreement. He was also fined $250.
During a concert last year, someone in the audience threw an object at Akon. It was believed that the 15-year-old boy was the culprit, so Akon grabbed him, pick him up and tossed him off the stage.
The boy landed on woman in the audience, and the woman said she suffered a concussion as a result.
So, Akon tosses a little boy off the stage and he gets community service and $250 fine? Community service is understandable, but shouldn’t he be forced to pay more than $250 fine. That’s not even enough for someone to pay their rent for a month.
The tossing incident was caught on tape. The clip is posted below.
