Monica is recording a new album
R&B singer Monica is finally back in the studio working on a new album.
According to Billboard magazine, the singer will either name her album “Lesson Learned” or “Still Standing.”
It’s expected to be released in the spring of 2009. She’s working with producers Stargate, Bryan Michael Cox and Missy Elliot.
Monica bursted onto the music scene at age 14 in 1995 with her debut album “Miss Thang” which sold three million copies.
Her second album “The Boy Is Mine” sold seven million. Her latest two albums “All Eyez On Me” and “The Makings of Me” failed to reach platinum status.
Her hit songs include “Don’t Take It Personal,” “For You I Will,” “The Boy Is Mine” and “Angel Of Mine.”
