– The group Black Eyed Peas are working on a new album titled “The END,” which stands for The Energy Never Dies. The album is expected to be released in March.
–Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie’s former prom date was convicted of robbing a bank and he will serve eight years behind bars. Vincent Dean Malicek and Fergie were prom dates in high school.
– Anne Hathaway auctioned off a date of herself for $12,000, which was the highest bid. The proceeds from the auction will go toward The Trevor Project, which is a crisis hotline for gay youths. I don’t know. Is a date with Anne really worth $12,000??????
– A jury in Texas ruled against Donna West, a woman who claimed that film director Tyler Perry stole the “Diary of a Mad Black Woman” idea from her. The woman who filed the lawsuit is appealing the decision.
– When Jay Leno leaves “The Tonight Show” next year, he announced he will star in his own one-hour show that will air at 9 p.m. on NBC. Conan O’Brien will replace Leno on “The Tonight Show” in May.
– After clinging to life for a few days, Scott Ruffalo (the brother of actor Mark Ruffalo) died this week from a gunshot wound to the head. To people were arrested in connection with the shooting.
