Boy George found guilty of false imprisonment
Culture Club singer Boy George was found guilty Dec. 5 on false imprisonment charges involving a male escort.
The escort accused Boy George of handcuffing him to a wall and swung a metal chain at him.
In the courtroom, Boy George admitted that he handcuffed the escort to the wall, but he said it was because he thought the escort was removing photos from his computer.
Photos of the injuries that occurred to the escort was shown to jury, but Boy George said he didn’t cause those injuries.
A jury disagreed, and they convicted him. He will be sentenced at a later date.
