First someone stole $2 million Jewelry from Paris Hilton’s home two weeks ago. Now, Queen Latifah is the latest jewelry theft victim.
About $10,000 in jewelry was stolen from Queen Latifah’s luxury hotel room in Tobago.
It’s believed that it was stolen from a hotel employee. Queen Latifiah paid $1,000 per night to stay in this hotel, so she probably assumed that her belongings would be safe. Well, she was wrong.
Latifah makes enough money to overcome this $10,000 loss, but it still sucks to lose jewelry especially if it’s a family heirloom or something.

Charles Barkley arrested after partying with Steve Urkel?
Former NBA star Charles Barkley was arrested after a night of partying with Steve Urkel and NFL player Michael Strahan. According to police, Barkley was pulled over Dec. 31 after he ran a stop sign in Scottsdale Arizona, according to the Associated Press.
Police also said Barkley declined a breath test, so he was given a blood test. They arrested him on a complaint of driving while impaired, and he was released while authorities are waiting for the blood test results.
During the incident, the officer said Barkley was very nice cooperative.
TMZ is reporting that Barkley was hanging out at the Dirty Pretty Rock Bar along with Michael Stahan and actor Jaleel White (who played Steve Urkel on “Family Matters” sitcom).
According to TMZ, Barkley told the officer he ran the stop sign because he was in a hurry to get oral sex. Then he told a police department employee that he will tattoo their name on his butt if they let him out of the DUI.
TheDirty.com obtained a copy of Barkley’s bar tab, and it shows that he bought six expensive bottles of alcohol totaling $1,800, plus he left a $360 tip. At least he’s a good tipper right?
Barkley should have known better than to hang out with Steve Urkel. He might be a nerd, but apparently Urkel is a party animal too. Apparently, he’s also a bad influence on Charles.
Shame on you Urkel.

Mariah Carey drank alcohol and puts to rest pregnancy rumors
The gossip magazines and the tabloids were all wrong. It appears that Mariah Carey isn’t pregnant after all.
Paparazzi who followed her and her husband Nick Cannon to St. Barts in the French West Indies Dec. 30 took pictures of Mariah drinking red wine.
The pictures were posted on the Celebrity Vibe Web site.
Mariah sparked pregnancy rumors when she appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show last month.
Ellen asked Mariah if she was pregnant, and Mariah avoided the question. So, Ellen poured a glass of champagne for Mariah and told her to drink a sip. When Mariah refused, everyone speculated that she was pregnant.
Well, it turns out that she is not pregnant because she was spotted drinking alcohol the other day, and we all know Mariah is way too smart to drink while pregnant.

Matt Dillon arrested for speeding
Matt Dillon was arrested for doing something that most of us do on a daily basis–speeding.
Police pulled him over Tuesday night (Dec. 30) in Vermont for driving 106 miles-per-hour. The speed limit was 65 mph.
He was booked on a complaint of excessive speeding.
I’m not sure where the actor was traveling to, but obviously it was somewhere important if he was driving 41 miles over the limit.

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick lost money to Bernard Madoff
Actor Kevin Bacon and his actress wife Kyra Sedgwick are among the numerous victims who fell prey to investor Bernard Madoff. Bacon’s publicist confirmed that the couple made investments with Madoff, but declined to say how much money they lost.
Madoff is accused of taking his client’s money and running a Ponzi scheme, and he lost $50 billion of his client’s money.
Other victims include Eric Roth, the screenwriter of Forrest Gump and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.”
Not to mention a French investment manager who lost $2 billion with Madoff decided to commit suicide earlier this month because of the loss. I guess if I lost $2 billion, I might consider killing myself too.

A florist company said Timbaland didn’t pay his bill
A florist company in Florida is claiming that music producer Timbaland cheated them out money.
According to TMX, The White Tulip Florist filed paperwork to try to put a lien on his mansion.
They claim they provided Christmas decorations for Timbaland including $25,850 worth of trees, flowers and lights.
They said he still owes them $11,450.
Timbaland is a multi-millionaire who has plenty of money to burn. I can’t Eleven-thousand dollars is chump change to him, so I can’t imagine why he would skip out on the bill.
Timbaland produced various songs including “Are You That Somebody” by Aaliyah, “Apologize” by One Republic and “Cry Me A River” by Justin Timberlake.

Tony Romo collapsed in the shower
Dallas Cowboys quarterback (and Jessica Simpon’s boyfriend) Tony Romo collapsed in the locker room shower following a football game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
According to ESPN, medical workers brought in a stretcher, but Romo walked out on his own. It is believed that Romo is suffering from a rib injury that occurred during the game.
Romo is a trooper though. After he collapsed, he still participated in a press conference even though he needed assistance to make it to the podium.
The Cowboys lost to the Eagles. Maybe Romo was so upset by the loss that he fainted. It’s hard for me to believe that he would have passed out if his team had won the game.

Family Matters star Jamie Foxworth is pregnant
Actress Jamie Foxworth has gone from playing Steve Urkel’s neighbor on “Family Matters” to adult porn star to a drug addict, and now she is a mother-to-be.
The 29-year-old actress is pregnant with her first child. She recently appeared on VH1 reality show Celebrity Detox in order to try to kick her drug habit for good.
She was fired from “Family Matters” after a few seasons, and she lost her money and became a porn actress to make ends meet.
She’s writing an autobiography that will be out next year detailing her life struggles.

Heather Mills sued by nanny
Paul McCartney’s ex wife Heather Mills is being sued by her nanny for sex discrimination.
According to MSNBC, the nanny is claiming that Mills made her work unreasonable hours, blow-dry Mills’ hair and give her a spray tan while she was naked.
The two have 28 days to settle their differences or they will have to fight it out in court.
Taylor Swift raps during concerts
This might come as surprise to most people, but country singer Taylor Swift is sometimes a rapper and an R&B singer. Well, she turns into one during her concerts anyway.
When she’s on tour, she performs covers of “Lose Yourself” by Eminem, “Irreplaceable” by Beyonce and “Umbrella” by Rihanna. I guess you can view this as bridging the gap between country and hip hop.

Five people injured in a shooting at E-40 concert
Five people were injured during the weekend at Vinyl nightclub in Denver following an E-40 concert.
One person was in critical condition and the four others were treated and released after rapper E-40’s performance, according to TMZ.
Denver Broncos and former Oklahoma State University football player Darrent Williams was shot and killed across the street from this same nightclub two years ago.
I think it’s time to step up security measures at this nightclub or force the owners to shut it down.
Chyna hospitalized for being too drunk
Former pro wrestler Chyna was hospitalized during the weekend for being too drunk. Apparently she had way too many birthday drinks.
According to TMZ, the former wrestler (whose real name is Joanie Lauer) was taken to a hospital after she became overly intoxicated on her birthday. Her party friends found her passed out Saturday with cuts on her arm, and called 911.
After all is said and done, I must admit, Chyna sure knows how to throw a party.

Man shot in theater for talking during Benjamin Button movie
If anyone plans on watching the new Brad Pitt movie “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” please be sure to keep your mouth shut in the movie theater.
If you talk, you might get shot down. That’s exactly what happened to a father in Philadelphia this week.
According the Philadelphia Enquirer, a father and son were talking to each other while the movie was playing. A 29-year-old man identified as James Joseph Cialella Jr. became angry and started throwing popcorn at the son. After some unkind words were exchanged between the father and the gunman, he pulled out a gun and shot the father in the arm.
The craziest part is that the gunman sat down in his seat and continued watching “Benjamin Button” until police arrived to arrest him.
I haven’t seen it yet, but I’ve heard some great reviews about the “Benjamin Button” movie. Is the movie that good where someone would shoot another person for talking while it’s playing? Is the movie that good where the gunman didn’t even try to run from police because he wanted to sit there and finish watching the movie?
Obviously it is. This gunman just convinced me to go see it.

Brad Pitt might have dumped Jennifer Aniston for another woman (Angelina Jolie), but it looks like Jennifer got the last laugh this week—at the box office.
Aniston’s film “Marley & Me” and Pitt’s movie “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” went head to head at the box office while both movies were competing for the top spot on Christmas Day.
Aniston’s movie came in number one on Christmas Day with $14.8 million, beating Pitt’s movie which came in second with $11.8 million, according to box office receipts.
“Marley & Me” broke records by becoming the biggest one-day total in history for a movie that was released on Christmas.

Singer Corinne Bailey Rae’s husband died from accidental overdose
A coroner released a report this week that said the husband of singer Corinne Bailey Rae died from an accidental overdose.
Jason Rae, 31, was found dead in March at his home in England. The coroner determined he overdosed on methadone and alcohol.
The couple married in 2001.

Courtney Love accuses Kim Kardashian’s brother of gay bashing
In an unlikely feud, singer Courtney Love is going at it on the blogosphere with the Kardashians.
It all started on Christmas Eve when Courtney made allegations against Robert Kardashian Jr. on her MySpace blog.
Courtney wrote, “Hi kids, if you are expecting Santa to read you a bedtime story on this new blog, think again! What i am about to direct is something many of you can relate to, and hopefully are disgusted by .. which is the icky trend of straight heterosexual males who commit hate crimes that are secretly in the closet, yes, Rob Kardashian.”
“Well Rob jr cold socked and punched my employee right in his face for no reason and broke his nose after my GUY was hanging out with his pal Brody Jenner one night outside Hyde lounge … then right after yelling {gay obsenities} Rob JR punched my guys in the face.”
“My guy has 3 witnesses who saw Rob jump out of the SUV and because of the fact that he works for me, a woman of power, you broke his nose and caused blood to shed.”
Robert’s sister socialite Kim Kardashian later replied to the allegations that Courtney was making about her little brother.

Aww. Two talentless people going toe to toe with each other. First let me say, I don’t believe a word that Courtney Love says. Her brain is fried with all of the drugs that she has used throughout her life.
Besides, I’ve seen Rob Jr. while I watched a few episodes of the reality show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” and I know that Rob Jr. wouldn’t even hurt a fly.
Kim said she’s going to forward Courtney’s words to her attorney’s, but I seriously doubt if she will follow up with a lawsuit. Courtney is not worth the hassle of fighting this out in court.
