Paul Rudd and Beyonce on Saturday Night Live
Paul Rudd and Beyonce will be on Saturday Night Live tonight (Nov. 15).
Rudd will be doing the hosting duties while Beyonce will be behind the mic, most likely performing her new song “If I Were A Boy.”
Rudd played in “Role Models,” “Clueless,” “Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers,” “Anchorman,” “Knocked Up” and several episodes of “Reno 911.”
And for Beyonce, there is no need for me to list her resume because everyone already knows who she is.

Former Soul Train host Don Cornelius charged with assault
Former Soul Train host Don Cornelius has been charged this week with domestic abuse stemming from an incident that occurred last month.
Police were notified about a domestic disturbance at a Los Angeles home last month. Police responded and arrested Cornelius.
He was released from jail on $50,000 bail last month, and now the attorney is filing charges against him.
He is now charged with misdemeanor spousal battery, assault with a deadly weapon and dissuading a witness from making a police report.
Cornelius hosted Soul Train from 1971 to 1996.
Taylor Swift said another woman was involved in her breakup with Joe Jonas
Country singer Taylor Swift revealed that her relationship with Jonas Brothers singer Joe Jonas ended because of another woman.
The woman was actress Camilla Belle who appeared in the Jonas Brothers’ “Lovebug” video.
She told US Weekly magazine, “They’ve been together since we broke up. That’s why we broke up-because he met her.”
He also said he broke up with her during a 27-second phone conversation.
Dang, Joe. Don’t you think Taylor Swift is worthy of at least a 5-minute break up phone conversation? You didn’t have to reduce her to 27 seconds. That’s cold.
I don’t know who this Camilla woman is, but I’m sure she can’t hold a candle to Taylor Swift.
He broke up with a superstar singer in order to be with an extra from one of his videos. He is really trading down.

Kanye West blames himself for his late mother’s death
Kanye West opens up about his mother’s death, and he puts the blame on himself.
Speaking during a listening party for his latest CD “808s and Heartbreak,” West said, “I feel like I moved to California, then my mom moved to California, and she did stuff she wouldn’t have done if we’d stayed in Chicago. If I’d never made it in the music business, it never would’ve happened.”
West was referring to the death of his mother Donda West when she passed away last year due to complications from a cosmetic procedure by a crooked doctor.
It appears that Kanye has been putting a lot of blame on himself and living with a lot of guilt during the past year. If anyone is to blame, it’s NOT Kanye…. It’s the crooked doctor. There’s no way Kanye would have known that the doctor was unqualified.

Toby Keith skips the CMA Awards show
Toby Keith is not too happy with the CMA Awards officials. Which is why he decided to skip the award show altogether Wednesday night (Nov. 12).
In an interview with People magazine, Toby said “I know everybody is going to say it’s sour grapes, but I don’t care, it’s not. I haven’t been to a CMA Awards show in four years. They screwed me ’till I finally saw the light. You do your own math on that and figure out what you think about that show.”
Toby was referring to how the award show has snubbed him when it comes to receiving awards.
He has been nominated 27 times but he has only taken home two awards–in 2001 and 2005.
He also accused the show of playing politics when it comes to choosing the winners.
I agree with Toby on this one. His albums always go to number one, and he always outsells other country musicians when it comes to selling concert tickets. I think he deserves more awards than he gets from the CMA.
Toby usually winner a lot of awards at other shows, but the CMA officials tend to ignore him by shutting him out when it comes to winning.
Toby has never held his tongue. He’s known for being straight forward and always speaking his mind. Therefore, maybe he just rubbed someone the wrong way at the CMA.
While Toby is unhappy with the CMA, I’m sure his fellow Oklahoma native Carrie Underwood is excited with the CMA’s because she won the female vocalist of the year award during Wednesday’s telecast.

Everybody Loves Raymond actor Brad Garrett involved in a scuffle with photographers
Police are investigating battery accusations against “Everybody Loves Raymond” actor Brad Garrett, according to the Associated Press.
Video footage that was posted on TMZ shows taking pictures of Garrett, and then Garrett chased a photographer and then he pushed the video camera of another photographer.
The photographer said that Garrett broke his camera during the scuffle. The two began arguing, but there was no physical violence.
Garrett has not been arrested, and he probably won’t be. Since all that resulted was a broken camera and not a broken nose, I think the police will probably close this case quickly and probably make Garrett pay for the broken camera.
Carmen Electra will pose for Playboy magazine
Carmen Electra hasn’t had much of a career since she appeared on “Baywatch” for a few seasons and since she married and divorced Dennis Rodman during a tumultuous tabloid relationship.
However, her career has been going downhill during the past 10 years.
The 36-year-old model/actress will be posing for naked Playboy magazine soon.
According to People magazine, Carmen will grace the cover of the January issue.
Posing naked is a good way to jump start your career again.
A smart career move on Carmen’s part. The attention that she gets will likely disappear a month after the magazine goes on sale, but one month of fame is better than no months of fame.

Reba McEntire is leaving her record label after 25 years
Country singer and Oklahoma native Reba McEntire is leaving her record label of 25 years MCA Nashville. She recently signed with Valory Music Co.
According to CMT, the president of Valory Music record label is the same guy who handled her promotion during the 1990s and helped her get 14 number one country singles and sell more than 22 million albums.
I think it’s understandable why she wants to leave her record label and go to the man who helped her garner hit songs during the 1990s.
Reba is a the queen of country music and she has millions of fans all over the world. However, she really hasn’t had a hit song during hte past decade. Hopefully this new label move will help change that.
Her next album will be out next summer (2009).

Actress Michelle Williams father faces tax evasion charges
The father of actress Michelle Williams will be extradited from Australia back to the United States to face tax evasion charges.
According to the Associated Press, Michelle’s father Larry Williams is wanted for allegedly failing to pay $1.5 million in taxes from 1990 to 2001.
Of course, Larry says that he is innocent, but we shall wait and see what a jury says. A word to the wise–NEVER try to avoid paying your taxes because the IRS will always find you, and they always win in court too.

A dead body was found outside of Paula Abdul’s house
A young woman believed to be in her 30s was found dead in her vehicle right outside of American Idol judge Paula Abdul’s home in Los Angeles.
According to People magazine, the police department officials believe it was a suicide, but they have to wait for the coroner to investigate before an exact cause of death is determined.
According to TMZ, the victim’s parents called the police and told them that they’re daughter was missing and that she had a natural obsession with Paula Abdul.
TMZ is also saying that the victim auditioned for American Idol in front of Paula in 2006, but she was rejected. Click here to watch her audition, and you’ll see why she was rejected.

Jennifer Aniston opens up about Angelina Jolie
Jennifer Aniston finally talks about the woman who stole her husband. In the December issue of Vogue magazine, she discusses what she thinks about Angeline Jolie.
Jennifer was upset by the fact that Angelina was publicly talking about how Angelina and Brad fell in love on the set of their movie “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.”
Keep in mind, Jennifer and Brad were still married during that time. So, basically Angelina revealed that her and Brad were in love while he was still married to Jennifer. Jennifer was unaware of their attraction to each other at that time.
According to Vogue magazine, Jennifer told the reporter, “There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening. I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss. That stuff about how she couldn’t wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool.”
It’s about time Jennifer started to get a little backbone and start sticking up for herself.
Angelina stole Brad from her a long time ago, and Jennifer is just now talking about it and trying to call Angelina out on her behavior. She should have did this a long time ago.

Desperate Housewives star Jesse Metcalfe injured after falling from a nightclub balcony
It looks like Desperate Housewives star Jess Metcalfe doesn’t know how to party in a safe manner.
Metcalfe was hospitalized after falling at a nightclub from a balcony that was two-stories tall. Metcalfe was Monaco to host the World Music Award.
According to People magazine, Metcalfe was at a club in Monaco sitting on the edge of the balcony when he fell backwards and landed on the ground 30 to 40 feet below.Metcalfe was released from the hospital shortly after, and it looks like there will be no long term damage, but he did fracture his fibular.
His spokesperson said, “To have fallen that distance and not have any major injuries was a miraculous escape. It was a very scary experience for him and those of us who saw him. It was a nasty fall. He was found face down on the floor. It could easily have been fatal.”
I recommend that he start taking some gymnastics, dancing, yoga or ballet classes to help him improve his coordination so he can stop being so clumsy.
He was at a nightclub when this incident occur, so it’s no telling whether he had too much to drink or if he was just plain clumsy.

Beyonce refuses to sell her wedding photos
Beyonce has turned down several financial offers to sell wedding photos of her and Jay-Z to celebrity magazines.
The couple got married in a secret ceremony earlier this year, but they rarely discuss the fact that they are together, and no one has seen any wedding pictures. She’s definitely not letting the public see her wedding photos anytime soon.
According to the Associated Press, Beyonce said, “They offer crazy money that’s just ridiculous. But in the end, absolutely not. It’s so not worth it. If anything, if you wanna put something out, then put it out, not for money.”
She also said, “We worked really hard at keeping it private, “I’ve always been this way, and he’s always been this way, so that’s why we complement each other. We always knew that it would be private and quiet, for all the right reasons.”
Good for you Beyonce. Sometimes you have to keep your business private.
Once you put it out there in the street, then people start spreading gossip about you, and they start speculating on the state of your marriage. On the other hand, the more secretive they are about it, the more nosier people get about those two.

Since the homicide of her mother, brother and nephew, Jennifer Hudson and her relatives have been staying at Donald’s Trump’s hotel for free.
Donald Trump told People magazine, that they are protecting the Hudson family during this difficult.
Jennifer has been staying at his hotel since her family members were killed.
This is nice of The Donald to provide Jennifer and family with a home that is protected from the public, the media and the paparazzi.
Looks like Donald isn’t such a bad guy after all.

SWV lead singer releases a new comeback album
Coko, the lead singer of SWV, has returned to the music scene. Her Christmas album titled “A Coko Christmas,” was recently released.
I know it does sound strange that she would make her comeback album into a Christmas album, especially considering that most people are not going to buy it. Most people won’t even know that she has a new album out (unless you read this blog).
On the new Christmas album she does a duet with George Huff, who placed fifth during season 3 of American Idol.
If she’s looking for George Huff to help her make a successful comeback, then she’s got a long way to go.

Tim McGraw will host Saturday Night Live on Nov. 22
Not too long ago, country singer Tim McGraw stepped into the world of hip hop when he did a duet with rapper Nelly on the catchy song “Over and Over Again.”
Now, the country singer is stepping onto the Saturday Night Live stage and showing off his comedic acting chops. McGraw will host the show later this month
He’s already appeared in several films including “Saturday Night Lights,” “Flicka” and soon-to-be released film “Get Low” along with Robert Duvall and Sissy Spacek. However, he’s never showcased any of his skills in comedy. (If he has any to begin with).
Now that the election is over, there is no need for them to keep bringing back the presidential candidates to SNL.
McGraw will probably be a good change of pace.

Britney Spears’ son released from hospital
Britney Spears’ son Jayden was released from the hospital late Monday night (Nov. 10).
He was taken to a Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center on Sunday afternoon after he had an allergic reaction from something that he ate. I’m glad the little tot is okay.
I just wish I knew what he ate so that I can make sure to avoid it myself.
Lindsay Lohan says she might be bisexual
Contrary the rumors that you have been hearing about her, Lindsay Lohan said she is NOT a lesbian.
However, she does admit that she “might” be bisexual. There is a big difference.
In December issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine, Lindsay said, “I think it’s pretty obvious who I’m seeing. I think it’s no shock to anyone that it’s been going on for quite some time. She’s a wonderful person and I love her very much.”
Lindsay was referring to her girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
Also in the magazine, she said she’s not a lesbian. When asked if she is bisexual she said, “Maybe. Yeah.”
I’m not sure what kind of admission that is though.
I would never try to judge an determine what someone’s sexual preference is. However, to be honest with you, I don’t believe that Lindsay is a lesbian or bisexual.
I think she is just experimenting with woman right now just for the heck of it.
I’m suspicious because she has NEVER been interested in girls throughout her whole life until the past year when she met Samantha.
I could be wrong, but I guarantee you Lindsay is 100 percent straight. Samantha’s going to get her heart broken eventually.

Mos Def wanted by police
Rapper Mos Def is wanted by police in connection with an incident involving a photographer.
According to MSNBC, Mos Def is accused of ripping a camera from a 60-year-old photographer’s neck at a fashion show in Los Angeles.
The photographer received a cut on his hand. The camera was recovered, but it was broken.
Mos Def’s motive was unknown, but I’m interested in hearing why he chose to attack a 60-year-old man.
I’m sure the photographer wasn’t harassing him. After all, Mos Def isn’t that famous, so there would be no reason for a photographer to hound him.
Maybe Mos Def just wanted some attention.
