Guns and Roses rocker Axl Rose vs Dr. Depper
Guns N Roses rocker Axl Rose is very angry with one of my favorite soft drinks–Dr. Pepper, and he’s got every right to be angry too.
According to the Associated Press, he is accusing the company of making money off of the band’s name. Axl is referring to when Dr. Pepper offered to give everyone in America a free soda if the band releases their new album this year.
Of course when they did release their album, nobody got any free Dr. Pepper. However, the soda Web site was flooded with Web site hits from fans wanting to know more about the offer.
Now, Axl Rose is demanding a apology from the beverage company. His lawyer is demanding that the company issue a full-page apology in the New York Times, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal and the LA Times.
An apology? Is that all Axl wants is an apology? That’s copyright infringement. He should be asking for a share of the profits.
If he was smart, he would take this court and make the soda company compensate him.

90210 star Shenae Grimes denies eating disorder
Super-skinny actress Shenae Grimes is denying rumors that she is suffering from an eating disorder.
In interview with People magazine, the new 90210 star said, “I really can’t help what someone thinks of me because they are reading a paper and choosing to believe it. It’s so frustrating. Meet me in person, and you can’t say anything. No bones sticking out. This is me. This is my body. I have accepted it.”
Ouch! It sounds like somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. If someone thinks your skinny, she should take it as a compliment. It’s better than somebody saying you’re too fat.
Besides, it should be easy for her to squash those eating disorder rumors. All she has to do is start eating a couple of cheeseburgers in front of the paparazzi while they’re photographing you.

Rosie O’Donnell vs. Barbara Walters
Rosie O’Donnell and Barbara Walters are going at it once again.
It all started during a conference call last week where Rosie told reporters that everyone didn’t get along on “The View.” Rosie said Barbara “wanted everyone to believe and think and act as if the women get along and are really good friends and happy and hang out together, and, you know, that’s just not the reality. I’m not saying they loathe each other, but the fact of the matter is, there was not a lot of camaraderie off camera.”
When Barbara heard this she issued a statement during an episode of “The View.” On Nov. 21, Barbara told the audience, “There are some people who have done this show and then for years feel they have to dump on it, maybe for their own publicity. That not only hurts me, but i resent it. But if the shoe fits lady get on with your lives.”
Rosie then responded Nov. 24 on the “Today Show.” Rosie said, “To her, (Barbara) I’m the rowdy teenage daughter she can’t control. It hurts me that I hurt her.”
This is the feud that keeps on giving. When Rosie made her comments, Barbara Walters should have just kept quiet about it, and maybe it would have all went away. However, I must admit that it is quite humorous.
My all time favorite Rosie moment was when she and Elisabeth Hasselbeck got into a confrontation on “The View” last year.

Brandy discusses why she lied about her marriage
R&B singer and actress Brandy Norwood reveals why she lied about her marriage with producer Robert Smith. Six years ago, Brandy and Robert announced that they were married right before their daughter was born.
However, a year later when they broke up, Robert revealed that they never were married to begin with.
In interview with US Weekly, Brandy said, “I lied because of the fear of what people would think and the pressure to be a good role model. Our relationship was very real, we just weren’t legally married.”
Also, during that time, Brandy and Robert starred in a reality show on MTV where cameras followed the couple around and documented their so-called “marriage.”
I understand if they want to keep their relationship a secret. I also understand that Brandy got pregnant out of wedlock and she wanted her fans and the media to think she was married so that no one would pass judgement on her.
However, I disagree with the fact that she told everyone that she was married even though she wasn’t. There is no need to lie.
If someone asked her about her relationship, all she had to do was say “No Comment” like Beyonce and Jay-Z always do whenever people ask about their relationship.
By the way, Brandy’s new album “Human” will be out Dec. 9.

Ashlee Simpson gave birth to a boy
Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz had their baby this week, and you’re not going to believe what they named their newborn son.
His name is Bronx Mowgli. If the name sounds familiar to you, then maybe this will ring a bell. Mowgli was the main character in the Disney movie “The Jungle Book.”
This couple seems to have a fascination with Disney because they had a Winnie the Pooh theme as their baby shower, and they also had an Alice in Wonderland theme for their wedding.
I’m not sure I’m feeling the baby’s name, but much congratulations to Ashlee and Pete.

Prince is being sued by a perfume company
Legendary singer Prince is being sued by the Revelations perfume company.
According to Reuters, the perform company is claiming that they had an agreement with Prince create a fragrance titled “3121.”
The company is claiming that Prince failed to promote the fragrance, so they are suing him for $100,000.
Prince’s representatives are not commenting on this lawsuit, so it’s hard for me determine which side to take until I hear Prince’s side of the story.

P. Diddy to guest star on CSI: Miami
Music mogul P. Diddy has many titles under his belt.
He’s a rapper, actor, dancer, songwriter, producer, Broadway performer, clothing designer and reality show star.
Not mention being a father. Plus, he’s an expert when it comes to throwing the best Hollywood parties.
Now he is about to become prosecutor—at least on tv anyways.
Diddy will appear on two episodes of the crime drama series CSI: Miami playing the role of prosecutor, according to the Associated Press.
The episode is expected to air by late winter.
Didy’s previous acting efforts include “Monster’s Ball,” “A Rasin in the Sun” and “Made.”
Michael Jackson is too sick to appear in court
Just when you thought that Michael Jackson couldn’t do anything more bizarre than he already has, he proved you wrong.
Michael Jackson is being sued for $7 million for breach of contract, but his attorney says he can’t show up to court because he’s too sick to fly to London.
His lawyer said, “It would be unwise for him to travel, given what’s he’s got now.”
What exactly does Michael got? the cold? the flu? allergies? a runny nose? Every time Michael gets in trouble with the law, he all of sudden becomes “sick.”
Remember during his child molestation trial, he wasn’t going to show up to stand trial because he “claimed” he was having back problems. The judge threatened to hold Michael in contempt of court if he didn’t show up.
As a result, Michael’s back problems miraculously healed and he showed up in court. The judge is this lawsuit trial should put his foot down as well, and make Michael show up to court.
He should get no special treatment. If Michael was a regular person, he would be required to appear in court even if he does have a cold.

Mariah Carey’s song “Hero” was inspired by a restroom visit
While most people are reading newspapers and magazines while they’re sitting on the toilet, Mariah comes up with new songs.
According to Fox News, Mariah said she came up with the idea to write her hit song “Hero” while she was using the restroom.
She said when she was in the studio, she heard someone talking about a movie titled “Hero” starring Dustin Hoffman.
She then went to use the restroom, and while she was there, she came up with the idea to write her song “Hero.”
That song ended up going to number one on the Billboard charts, and it’s one of her most successful songs to date.
Mariah Carey is well known for her songwriting skills. She writes most of the songs that appear on her albums.
If you’ve ever wondered where she gets the ideas to write her songs, now you have your answer–the toilet.

Jennifer Love Hewitt’s trailer was burglarized
If your personal belongings aren’t safe on the set of your own television show, I guess it’s not safe anywhere.
According to TMZ, someone stole actress Jennifer Love Hewitt’s personal belongings from her trailer on the set of her television show ”Ghost Whisperer” at Universal Studios.
It’s unknown what was taken, but I’m willing to bet that a crew members is responsible for the burglary because the general public doesn’t have access to the tv set.
If I were Jennifer, I would be very nervous right now. Someone was roaming around her trailer taking things?
Hopefully she didn’t have a sex tape lying around, or provocative pictures, or personal letters. If so, I’m sure we will soon see them plastered on the Internet.

Prince goes to houses preaching about Jehovah’s Witnesses
Imagine sitting at home in your living room, and the legendary singer named Prince shows up at your doorstep.
Apparently, that’s what he has been doing. According to the New York Post, Prince has been going door to door preaching about the Jehovah’s Witnesses beliefs.
He has been a Jehovah’s Witness for about two years. Prince told the newspaper, “Sometimes people act surprised, but mostly they’re totally cool about it.”
I think surprised is a major understatement. All those times the Jehovah’s Witnesses have come to my house over the years trying to convert me, I never would let them in the house.
Maybe the Jehovah’s Witness organization should consider sending celebrities to people’s doorstep more often.
It might stop people from slamming doors in their face.

Animal rights activist threw flour on Lindsay Lohan
An animal rights activist drenched Lindsay Lohan with a flour during the weekend while she was leaving a nightclub in Paris.
Lindsay was wearing a black fur stole, and the animal rights activist wanted punish her.
In public statement, a spokesperson for PETA said, “There is nothing remotely ‘fashionable’ about the torture and death of animals killed for fur. Lindsay Lohan might be able to ignore images of bloody animals skinned alive for their pelts, but we hope a dash of flour will help her rise to the occasion and forsake fur once and for all.”
Let me start by saying that I am 100 percent against animals being treated poorly and being treated in cruel and inhumane manners.
I support people who try to fight animal cruelty. However, what this animal rights activist did was a little childish and immature.
If you want to protest people wearing fur, that’s fine. There are better ways to get your point across instead of throwing some flour.
Why not run for political office and have the laws changed to make life better animals. That’s more effective than using flour.
I support animal rights activists, but there are many people who don’t because some activists engage in this type of behavior in public.
This flour-thrower just reinforced negative stereotypes about animal rights people.

Kanye West blogs about his recent arrest
Kanye West was arrested recently and released in connection with the an incident that involved an alleged confrontation with a photographer.
Kanye blogged about the incident. I must say, after reading Kanye’s version of the events, I am on Kanye’s side on this one.
His blog is posted below……
”Regardless of how much light I put out, there are people working just as hard to deliver darkness. If you listen to my music, how could I deliver so many positive uplifting messages and be the monster that the media paints? Paparazzi give real photographers a bad name. A picture is worth a thousand words; theirs are worth a thousand dollars. Let us not forget the paps killed Princess Diana.
When will there be a law passed that simply enforces that someone has to ask to take a photography of you? That would seem like common courtesy. Right now, the paps are above the law, and the people they shoot are below it. What should be illegal is is pictures taken with the intent to sell … like drugs with the intent to sell .. or crossing customs with enough merchandise to have the intent to sell.
The exploitation of my images is the problem. It produces a “by any means necessary” behavior that causes the paps to drive recklessly on freeways, jump over fences and invade privacy all in an effort to get that “money shot.” You shouldn’t be able to sell a picture of me without my permission. After this law is passed, when you enter a public place like a basket ball arena etc., there will be a sign that reads … “All photos taken here are public domain and can be used at the photographer’s discretion.” Obviously red carpet events where people show
up to be photographed will also apply.
The personal problem I have with the paps is when they try to catch you being a regular person. I am not a celebrity. I’m a normal person that just famous. I refuse to sneak in and out of back doors and kitchens of hotels etc … I am protecting my personal space since there are no laws to protect that for me. I put my hand up to the camera in self defense!
Here’s what happened … When I left the club, I was encountered by a thirsty paparazzi, as usual. He felt he mad more rights to my space than me, so I put my hand up to prevent him from taking my image. I didn’t assault him, but merely putting my hand up to cover his lens. My security yelled, “Get the camera off him.”
I guess in all the commotion, the camera scraped his nose. Three hours later, I get a knock at my hotel door. There were five police officers in front of my room and I had no idea why. I had my security go speak with them. The cops were very cordial, but the told me they had to arrest me because a compliant was filed. That was the bogus part. They placed me in handcuffs and drove me to the station. They spoke about how this was obviously a publicity stunt by the photographer, but they still had to go through the motions. When I got back to the hotel, there were paparazzi hanging over the bridge about the hotel trying to get a shot of me getting out the police ban.
Even though I wasn’t charged, the damage was done. Sure enough, the next morning, plastered across every media outlet … Kanye gets arrested. It didn’t matter that I wasn’t charged or the fact that I hadn’t assaulted anyway. All that mattered was that I was arrested.
Sidebar, they quoted me as saying … “Get the camera off him!” Like I was talking in the third person. He tried to make me sound like a crazy person, and people believed him. What merit does this guy have that he can say something about me, and people take it as law? The fact that he could get me arrested off a mere complaint, but I can’t ask him to stop taking pictures of me is very lopsided. Who’s winning, me or the media?”
