Former Beatles singer tells fans to stop sending him letters
Ringo Starr just might be the most ungrateful member of the Beatles.
In a video announcement that was posted on his Web site, he told fans to stop sending him letters and autograph requests because he’s too busy to read or to respond to them.
In fact, he said after Oct. 20, he will no longer accept mail from his fans. He said any fan letters that come after Oct. 20 will be thrown away.
Geez. Ringo really knows how to treat his fans well. What I’d like to know is what does Ringo have to do that keeps him so busy?
Since the Beatles broke up several decades ago, Ringo hasn’t really been doing much. But yet, he’s too busy to read any fan letters or sign autographs.
I understand that celebrities can’t read every piece of mail that is sent to them from fans. However, I know they can at least read some of them instead of throwing them all away.
Maybe that’s Ringo doesn’t have much a career these days. He doesn’t know how to treat his fans well.
