Tony Romo still calls Carrie Underwood
In the September issue of Allure magazine, Carrie Underwood said her ex-boyfriend Dallas Cowboys football star Tony Romo still calls her on the telephone.
She said, “The phone will ring and it’ll be him, and I’ll maybe not answer.”
Hmmmmm…. Now that Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson are a couple I wonder what Jessica thinks about Tony calling his ex-girlfriend???
It just so happens that Jessica did an interview with Nashville’s 107.5 radio station, where she said it’s not true that Tony calls Carrie.
She said, “Tony and I both laughed at that. We got a chuckle out of that.”
You can laugh all you want Jessica, but even you can’ t be that naive.
I’m taking Carrie’s side on this one. She has no reason to lie. After all, she is from Oklahoma. And Everybody knows that Oklahomans don’t lie.
I’m glad that Carrie doesn’t answer his calls. That shows that she has integrity and that she is not a home-wrecker.
Good job Carrie. You represent Oklahoma well.

Billboard charts: Top 10 Albums
The Jonas Brothers reached number one on the Billboard Top Album’s chart for the week of Aug. 20. They sold 525,000 in the first week with “A Little Bit Longer.”
No surprise there. All of the tween girls love them, and they have been dominating the radio airwaves for the past couple of months. Although they are gigantic right now, the real test will come in about five years from now when they get older.
Will they be able to achieve longetivity? Or will they have a couple of hit albums and then fade away like Hanson? We shall see……

Billboard Charts: Top 10 Songs
On the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart, Rihanna takes the top spot for another week with her song “Disturbia” while American Idol runner-up, aka the loser, David Archuleta debuted at number two with his single “Crush.”
I’m not surprised that Archuleta’s song debuted so high on the charts during the first week. He was a popular contestant on American Idol and naturally his fan base is going to keep flocking to him, at least until the next Idol season begins.
However, I am a bit shocked that Rihanna’s “Disturbia” is number one again because the song is not catchy like her previous hit singles “Umbrella” and “Take A Bow.”

Ricky Martin has twins
Singer Ricky Martin had twins. No, the deed wasn’t consummated. Instead he fathered the twins through a surrogate, his spokesperson told People magazine.
The name of the mother and the children have not been released.
Even though he didn’t get to perform the actual deed, I would like to wish Ricky a congratulations and good luck with those twins.

Dave Matthews Band member dies
LeRoi Moore saxophone player for Dave Mathews Band died Aug . 19 from injuries he sustained in car wreck that occurred on June 30.
Although I’ve never been a huge fan of Dave Mathews Band, I don’t wish death upon anyone–especially a musician. I hope his family can find peace eventually.

Chris Kattan and wife are breaking up
In one of the shortest Hollywood relationships in history, former Saturday Night Live actor Chris Kattan and his wife model Sunshine Tutt are separating, according to People magazine.
The couple insists they are not divorcing, but they are just “separating.”
My prediction is that a divorce is right around the corner so why not do it now and just get it over with?
Batman won’t go to jail
“The Dark Knight” star Christian Bale won’t have to serve any jail time in connection with an incident in which his mother and sister accused him of assaulting them.
Prosecutors have decided not to pursue any charges against the actor because they feel like there isn’t enough evidence to obtain a conviction.
I wonder if we will ever know what occurred during the incident. Did Christian slap them? Did he punch them? Did he shove them? or is he completely innocent?
The world may never know.

Jen and John split up
Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are a couple no longer.
People magazine is reporting that the couple have broken up. Too bad for Jennifer. She just can’t seem to keep a man. First she lost Bad Pitt after he left her for Angelina Jolie. Then she traded down got with Vince Vaughn and John Mayer and lost them both too.
I wonder why a guy won’t keep Jennifer? She’s cute, she’s famous and she’s wealthy. I’ll just sit back and wait for her next relationship to begin and end all within the same year.

Clay Aiken is a father
I know most of you never thought you would hear anyone utter these five words: CLAY AIKEN HAS A BABY.
It’s true. His baby mamma Jaymes Foster gave birth to Clay’s baby Friday morning.
In case you’re wondering, Jaymes Foster is a music producer, and yes, she was impregnated by Clay through in vitro fertilization.
Usher and his mamma reunite
Usher announced that he will once against hire his mother as his manager effectively immediately.
In a joint statement, Usher announced that he will once again hire his mother Jonnetta Patton as his manager effectively immediately.
Last summer, Usher fired his mother and as his manager even though she guided him through his successful career.
Since then, Usher has not been spitting out the hit songs like he used to. Sure, “Love in the club” was a major hit, but that was the only good song on his latest CD “Here I Stand.”
Maybe now that his mamma Jo is back in the picture, maybe we will get better Usher songs.

Morgan Freeman injured (Dark Knight curse continues)
One of the most respected and talented actors in Hollywood was seriously injured in a car wreck in Mississippi during the weekend.
Seventy-one year old Morgan Freeman vehicle flipped several times, and he was taken to a hospital where he is listed in serious condition.
Morgan most recently had a supporting role in “The Dark Knight.” There seems to be a curse on “The Dark Knight” cast.
Heath Ledger died from an overdose, Christian Bale is accused of assaulting his mother and sister and now Morgan Freeman rolled his car.

“Hairspray” star and “Top Model” contestant arrested
Don’t let those smiles above fool you. Those two girls can get very violent if neccessary.
Nikki Blonsky, of the movie “Hairspray” was arrested along with her father and former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant Bianca Golden.
According to TMZ, the arrest took place after Nikki’s family and Bianca’s families were fighting over seats at the airport lounge in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
TMZ is reporting that Nikki was saving five seats for her family, but Bianca’s family wanted to sit in them. A fight and cursing match then occurred between the two families.
The fighting trio appeared in court Friday morning (Aug. 1)
Wow. Two wannabe celebrities fighting over a seat. I wonder whats so special about those lounge seats that made them worth fighting over? I know some people get air rage, but these people weren’t even on the airplane. They were in the lounge.
