Hi Dave! Congratulations on your full time @TheFoodDood status!

1. I would like to see you present a restauranteur challenge in the area of wine pricing. Wine producers who visit Oklahoma love to see their wine varietals on a restaurant wine list but they have a heart attack when they see the price. Ofen times, customers pay up to 3 times cost for a bottle of wine. Something needs to be done. I adored Terra Luna (any way we can get that dig back?) and their method of wine pricing: $5 over cost. Simple to to understand and easy on the wallet. In a slow economy, diners will still choose to eat out for dinner but they may choose to drink the wine at home. Are you wondring Your part of the equation? Write about the best quality wine list in town, the best priced wine list in town, and the most under the radar wine list. Perhaps you could also interview wine distributors for their current raves.

2. I love Oklahoma and our rich heritage. I would like to know the origins of some foods and the similar varities found in related areas. Such as chicken fried steak. It seems so close to German schnitzel, they must be kissing cousins.

3. It always interests me to know where creative people receive their inspiration. Would you ask the chefs of Oklahoma what inspires them? Also ask them what favorite 10 food items they keep in their pantry or refrigerator.
