I’m especially tempted by the new Bobbi Brown Chrome holiday collection with its icy shimmering accents for eyes and lips.  The palette includes 10 eye shadows, four lip shades, a Mini Eye Shadow Brush and a Mini Lip Brush.

Makeup artist Bobbi Brown also introduced three limited-edition Chrome products for lips — Port Lip Color, Chrome Metallic Lip Color and Plum Pearl Metallic Lip Color.

The collection also includes the holiday Chrome Mini Brush Set, a zip-around case that features a Mini Face Blender, new Mini Angle Eye Shadow Brush and a Mini Eye Liner brush.  

The Chrome Palette costs $75; the new metallic lipsticks, $22 each.

So says makeup guru Bobbi Brown, who got everyone’s attention back in the day with her nude approach to makeup. Now comes her newest take on nude makeup with the 2009 Nudes Collection.

 “Nude makeup doesn’t mean monochromatic, barely-there makeup. It means makeup that’s right for your skin,” she said.

Brown’s new limited-edition eye palette for fall ($60) features eye shadow duos in a universally flattering selection of shades and textures. She also introduced a new Nude Shimmer Brick ($40) to her popular Shimmer Brick collection. Pearl pigments in pink, gold, bronze, beige and caramel are designed to be blended together to give all skin tones a soft nude, lit-from-within glow.

The Nudes Collection also includes Caviar Ink Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner ($21) in a rich, deep brown shade, and four new shades of Creamy Lip Color ($22) that complement the Nude Eye Palette and Nude Shimmer Brick.

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick for the Body

Forget the sun. For that sun-kissed look, reach for Bobbi Brown’s new Illuminating Bronze Collection.

 The collection includes the limited-edition Shimmer Brick for Body ($75). The lightweight and silky powder can be used on arms, legs or decollete. The large compact features three bars of  color and can be applied with Bobbi’s limited-edition All Over Body Brush ($85).

Also new is Illuminating Brozing Powder ($33) featuring an innovative blend of sheer powder and micro pearls for smooth and even application.

If a gel bronzer is more to your liking, try All Over Bronzing Gel SPF 15 in Golden Sun ($28). It gives the face a natural-looking glow with the benefit of sun protection.

Bobbi Brown Sheer Color Cheek Tint

Here’s what’s new from Bobbi Brown.  Her Nautical collection features two new products, Sheer Color Lip Gloss and Sheer Color Cheek Tint. The collection was inspired by easy, natural summer beauty. The cheek tint is available in six shades while the super sheer lip gloss comes in four punchy shades.

 The cheek tint retails for $22 and the gloss is $20.

Bobbi Brown also introduced Perfectly Defined Mascara, a new formula that lengthens, separates and curls lashes. The formula is long-wearing, doesn’t flake or smudge and stays in place all day. The cost: $24.

For months, my favorite eyeshadow has been a metallic gold/bronze gel. Love it, love it, love it. Now I’m starting to lighten up. Yesterday I wore a shimmery silver with a slight blue tone. Got so many compliments I wondered if the bronze looked bad. Nah. Just a nice change. Today I’ve got on that same silver but I swiped a stripe of turquoise over it. The start of a new season always make me want to try something different.

Just add color. It’ll perk up any winter day. Bobbi Brown’s new eye and lip collection, appropriately named Brights, should do the job.

The limited-edition palette contains a range of 35 matte shadows in pinks and and greens to blues and purples. There’s also four new shades of creamy lip color and six new lip glosses.

“The idea behind Bobbi Brown Brights is simple. It’s a library of beautiful bolts of color that a woman can pick up anytime that she wants to add a little fun to her look,” said Bobbi Brown.
