Style watch: Red patent iPad clutch
I love this iPad clutch by Z Spoke Zac Posen. Now if I just had an iPad. I will as soon as it becomes available through Sprint.
This clutch is oh so chic in red patent. It also comes in black patent, if you prefer. The clutch has a magnetic flap closure, back snap pocket and it’s padded. At $195, it’s not cheap. Sometimes cheap chic is just too much to hope for.
Check it out at Bloomingdale’s.
What’s new? Exude lipstick, a Rachel Zoe fave
For Rachel Zoe’s spring 2012 runway show in New York earlier this month, all the models wore Exude lipstick. Zoe probably had it on, too, because she has said it’s her new fave.
Never heard of Exude? It’s new, and guess who’s giving it lots of lip service. That would be Zoe, but you probably guessed that.
What’s interesting is the design, a crystal applicator which releases the perfect amount of lipstick, according to press information.
Infused with angi-aging ingredients and a minty scent, Exude offers lipstick in nine colors — coral, cranberry, rosy brown, nude, brown, bronze, plum, red and pink. Gloss comes in five colors — crimson, brown, clear, dusty pink and scarlet red.
Lipstick and glass each retail for $29 and are available online at www.exudelipstick.com.

Trend-spotting: Lace-up wedge booties
Everywhere I go I see wedge lace-up booties. Suede, suede and more suede, too. I’m thinking I might want a pair, and I’m looking at the wedge wedge because I want an extra shot of comfort. I tried on a couple of styles, but I haven’t pulled out my credit card yet. Just haven’t found the perfect pair. FYI: lace-up booties are one of fall’s kick-’em trends. Here are few wedges worthy of a second look.

Inquiring minds will want to know about the dress Checotah native Carrie Underwood wears when she performs with Tony Bennett on the season premiere of ”Blue Bloods” at 9 tonight on CBS.
Here’s the skinny: For her duet with the crooner, Underwood wears a one-shoulder sequin cocktail dress by Lorena Sarbu from the resort 2012 collection.

Actress Sofia Vergara’s new clothing line debuts at Kmart
Add actress Sofia Vergara to the long line of entertainers and celebrities with a clothing line.
Sofia by Sofia Vergara debuted exclusively in Kmart stores and on the website Monday, just hours after her sitcom, “Modern Family,” won four Emmy Awards.
The collection includes women’s sportswear, dresses, jackets, footwear and accessories. She describes the clothes as sexy, comfortable and affordable. The teaser on the Sofia page on the Kmart website says, You are a woman, so dress like a woman.
A clothing line is a dream she’s had for many years, Vergara told Robin Roberts on “Good Morning America.” She helped designed everything and even picked out the colors, she said.

Missoni for Target … what’s in store?
Lucky you if you snagged some limited-edition Missoni for Target.
At most stores across the country, including Oklahoma City, the shelves were picked clean. On Sept. 14, a day after the launch, I saw a few zigzag patterned ballet slippers and one lone blouse on the rack at Target on Northwest Expressway. I didn’t search the aisles, so more items may have been available. I kind of doubt it, though. This is one in-demand collection, even in Oklahoma. The chain’s website crashed more than once on the day of the launch.
Target has said it will be stocking more Missoni products, so check back often if you missed out or just want to add more to your stash. And it’s possible what you want or need is still available on the Target website. Most everything is out of stock, but a few goodies can be scooped up. Need a two-piece babydoll set or a dinner plate? They’re still in stock. So is the iPad 2 case.
The collection — Target’s largest limited-edition collaboration to date with more than 400 pieces – is scheduled to be in stores through Oct. 22. The collection includes women’s, men’s and children’s apparel and accessories as well as housewares adorned with the Italian luxury label’s famous zigzag print. Products range in price from $2.99 to $599.99, with most items totaling less than $40.
If you know of a Target store that still has a few precious pieces, share.

Emily Van Camp with Amber Valletta, right, in the new series "Revenge," which will air Wednesdays on ABC.
Tulsa’s Amber Valletta, former supermodel turned actress, will guest star on the new television series “Revenge” at 9 p.m. Wednesday on ABC.
Starring Emily Van Camp from “Brothers and Sisters, the series revolves around a woman who moves to the Hamptons to revenge what happened to her family.
Though Valletta concentrates on acting now, she was one of the top models on the runway and in print ads in the 1990s. She walked the runway for many well-known designers, including Valentino, Versace and Dior. She has been the face of Giorgio Armani, Versace and Gucci. She has appeared on the covers of Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Italian Vogue and British Vogue, often several times. In 1997, she was named the exclusive face of Elizabeth Arden. She appeared in ad campaigns for Prada, Versace, Calvin Klein, Fendi and Armani.
In the 2000s, she took time off from modeling to focus on her acting career.
She became interested in film when she appeared as herself in the fashion movie “Unzipped,” and in 1996, she co-hosted “House of Style” on MTV. Her television and film appearances include “Drop Back Ten,” “What Lies Beneath,” “The Family Man, “Hitch,” ”Transporter 2,”"Moonlight,” ”Premonition,” “Days of Wrath,” “State of the Union,” and most recently, “The Spy Next Door.”
In 2009, she launched a clothing line with Monrow, but it seems the collection is no longer available.
