David Beckham teams with H&M for new Bodywear line

David Beckham
Score another one for soccer star David Beckham. He has sealed a distribution partnership deal with H&M for an undergarment line for men. The products are expeced to be in stores Feb. 2, just in time for Valentine’s Day giving. Coincidence? I think not.
“Over the past year, I’ve been developing my Bodywear range with my team and I’m extremely positive about what we have designed and produced,” said Beckham, 36.
“The final piece in the jigsaw was a retail partner who has the vision and capability to distribute these products globally. In H&M, we have found the perfect partner to collaborate with going forward.”
Beckham seems to be following in his fashionable wife’s footsteps. Victoria Beckham has her own women’s clothing and accessories collection. Both have their own fragrances. And he was the star of the 2009 fall/winter underwear advertising campaign for Emporio Armani. Perhaps that’s what ignited Beckham’s interest in an undergarment line.

Beauty tip: Smooth those dry heels, rough feet
Flip-flops and sandals expose a lot – especially rough, cracked and dry heels. Let’s just say it’s not pretty.
It takes some effort to keep feet baby soft when you walk around barefoot indoors and out. Your feet take a beating. Here’s a tip from nail polish guru Deborah Lippman and InStyle.
“Use a callous remover like Get Off Callous Softner ($29; at nordstrom.com), followed by a pumice or scrub to slough off dry skin,” Lippmann says. “Soles become dry from the sand and salt; apply moisturizer before and after hitting the beach.”
Not liking that $29 price tag? Here are a few less-expensive products to help keep your feet soft, smooth and moisturized:
* Dr. Scholl’s for Her Rough Skin Eraser Liquid Exfoliant exfoliates rough, dry skin without harsh abrasives. About $6.50 at drug and discount stores.
* Dr. Scholl’s for Her Ultra Overnight Foot Cream softens tough skin overnight. About $7 at drug stores and discount chains.
* Foot Miracle Therapeutic Cream has a deep penetrating formula for rough callused, hard-to-soften feet. About $8 at Sally Beauty.
* Gena Pedi Care Sloughing Lotion packed with botanical ingredients to help exfoliate dead skin cells and hydrate and smooth feet. About $6 at Sally Beauty.
* H2O Plus Pumice Foot Scrub with menthol to cool and comfort feet. $15 at Ulta.

Is Kate bringing back nude hosiery?

Kate Middleton in sheer, shiny hosiery.
Can one woman single-handledly bring back a trend that hasn’t been in vogue since the 1980s?
If anyone can, it’s probably Kate, the new Duchess of Cambridge and wife of Prince William. The trend: nude hosiery. She wears sheer hose much of the time, and now at least a few celebs, including Sarah Jessica Parker, are following in her footsteps.
In a short time, Kate has become an international style icon. Why wouldn’t women want to copy her look, right down to the hosiery? Not everyone can afford the clothes she wears; hosiery is a cheaper trend fix.
Not that Kate is trying to jump start an old trend. She’s probably just following conservative Royal protocol that dictates females always wears hose at official appearances and events.
But now women are noticing and copying. The British press recently reported that sales of tan-colored tights have risen by up to 85 percent in the past year, and attribute the increase to Kate and her sister Pippa.
More often than not, Kate opts for glossy sheer tights or hose. There’s a definite telltale sheen. Not that Kate needs it, but hose can give legs a lift, of sorts. Many women don’t even own a pair, though.
So, who’s going to take a shine to nude hosiery?

Copy this beauty look: ESPN’s Erin Andrews

Celebrity makeup artist Brett Freedman made up ESPN sideline reporter Erin Andrews for the recent ESPY Awards. It’s a look that’s easy to duplicate. Since Erin was wearing something neutral and sporting suntanned legs, Brett decided to stay in understated tones. It was a departure from Erin’s regular look with lots of color. Here’s what he had to say:
How to get her look:
Base: Make Up Forever HD. Erin uses a higher SPF on her face than her body. To even it up I chose a shade a touch deeper than her face actually was. Later I added powder bronzer to glow it up a bit more.
Concealer: Laure Mercier Camo. duo.
Powder: Benefit Hello Flawless in Toast.
Bronzer: Elizabeth Arden. I love that it has a mix of golden bronze and pink. Like a real suntan.
Blush: YSL Crème de Blush in Silky Praline. I love using cream blush on sun-kissed skin. Gives nice dewy highlight on the cheekbone.
Shadow: MAC Cork in crease, HoneyLust on lid (I applied wet with a small brush) and Shroom on the brow bone.
Eye Pencil: MAC Teddy. I wanted all of the colors to be bronzy/browns. The only black was her mascara.
Mascara: Benefit They’re Real (Black). I curled before and after each coat to get ultimate pop.
Brow: Vanitymark Blondie. I filled in a touch above the brow line then brushed the hairs up to give uber lift to the eyes.
I then applied MAC’s Goldmine shadow (wet) to the hairs. Once dry I sealed with Vanitymark brow glaze in Acrylica.
Lip: I combined two shades. LORAC’s Multiplex gloss in Intermix and Elizabeth Arden’s gloss in Honey Glaze. I like to use a lighter, golden shade over a deeper shade. I use in the center of lip and along lip line to catch light and sex it up a bit.
Body: Vanitymark Shimmerskin. To amp up Erin’s fab LA tan (she had gone hiking that day) I sprayed this champagne shimmer spray on all exposed skin to give a dewy, JLo finish.
