“I just got robbed in the street in front of the Thyssen museum . . . My wallet, cash and all my credit cards!!”
That was fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg’s tweet last week. She was mugged during the day while sightseeing in Madrid. She tweeted the next day that she wasn’t hurt, but the city had to be a bit embarrassed. She was in the Spanish capital to collect an award from Telva magazine for best international collection.
