Part of my fun on vacation is shopping at stores we don't have around here, so that would be spoiled if there were an H&M (for instance) in the metro. Plus, you'd run the risk of seeing your latest "find" on several people around town. However, having shopped in Manhattan last month, I would love to see a Uniqlo around here. They carry a fun line of inexpensive basics. Topshop was meh, and Zara was just so-so. My #1 choice for a closer location is Lord & Taylor, my favorite department store ever. I’m divided on this one.
