Jimmy Choo coming to H&M stores, but what stores should come to Oklahoma?

Oklahoma has plenty of good things for it, but it would be nice if we had a few more shopping opportunities. I thought of that again this week when I learned that H&M would be collaborating with Jimmy Choo on a bag and shoe collection as well as clothes.

H&M already has teamed with Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, and most recently, Matthew Williamson. Now Jimmy Choo. The collection is set to debut Nov. 14 in about 200 stores around the world. H&M is a Swedish company known for its fast fashion.

Target does a good job with its designer collaborations, so cheap and trendy designer is available here.  And we’ve got some great specialty boutiques. But when it comes to shopping options, more is always better. Plenty of people would love to see an H&M here, but that may be a while. Texas doesn’t even have one. But there’s three in Missouri. Try to figure that one out.

Anyway, what stores would you like to see in Oklahoma?

I’m divided on this one. Part of my fun on vacation is shopping at stores we don’t have around here, so that would be spoiled if there were an H&M (for instance) in the metro. Plus, you’d run the risk of seeing your latest “find” on several people around town. However, having shopped in Manhattan last month, I would love to see a Uniqlo around here. They carry a fun line of inexpensive basics. Topshop was meh, and Zara was just so-so. My #1 choice for a closer location is Lord & Taylor, my favorite department store ever.

I tink that will be some store get in fast!
