Vera Wang could give “Dancing with the Stars” a fashionable turn

Talk continues to bubble about fashion designer Vera Wang being one of the contestants on next season’s “Dancing with the Stars.” Wang, who turns 60 on June 27, trained as a figure skater and competed in the 1968 U.S. Figure Skating Championships. She even designed outfits for Olympic skaters Nancy Kerrigan and Michelle Kwan.
Wang, a former fashion edtitor for Vogue, was named the CFDA’s Womenswear Designer of the Year award in 2005.
E! is reporting that Wang already has signed on with the dance show.
According to People magazine, she said of the rumors: “I don’t know yet. Part of me does want to do it and part of me doesn’t.”
