In today’s Life section, I wrote about Tina Mansfield, a native of Edmond who now lives in a suburb of Houston. She created a kindness ring, a stylish take-off of the string around your finger concept. She hopes the ring reminds people to be kind to others, to perform acts of kindness and think good thoughts. The sterling silver ring sells for $29.95 and is available at Retropolitan Boutique, Spring Creek Village, 15th and Bryant in Edmond. It comes with 10 different colors of string. Each color has its own meaning, but people are adding their own meanings to the string colors.
